Favorite thing to order is the friend shrimp and the crab dip. Only ever ordered through DoorDash so I can?t speak on... atmosphere. There have been times where I could tell the food wasn?t ?made with love? (stale chips with the dip or inconsistentamounts provided when we order the dip) but it?s always edible and good. Read more
It was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant!! First I thought it was fine dining it was a bar. But I still took... my 85 year old mother there. We waited for our waitress which was the bartender. After 15 minutes of getting our first drink,the other waitress took another couple?s order for food who came in after us. After an hour of waiting my mother?s salad came.Once our dinner came it was cold. Even the bartender agreed my $30.00 seafood steamed crab legs and steamed shrimp was ice cold.She took it back and continued to serve the bar. By then I was upset. I asked for the check for our drinks. She said I can?thelp it it?s busy. Really??? There was 2 tables there when we showed and hour and half ago!!!! She continues to argue with me.Caused the entire restaurant to stand in her favor and embarrass me. Saying they would contribute $1.00 each for my tab!!! Idon?t need a hand out I needed a hot meal. They blamed me. Called me a fat grandma!!! And she (the bartender) called me to stepoutside!!!! The establishment called me to step outside!!! When Asked To Speak To Kitchen Staff About Poor Quality Of Crabcakes...Some Kinda Cook Refused To Provide His Name And... Immediately Hung Up On My Concerns. Popped in on a Monday night and was pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a restaurant. The service was good. The food was... delicious. Hands down, the best Oyster Rockefeller I?ve ever had was served as my appetizer that night. I will be back again forthat dish itself! My snow crab legs came and were cooked perfectly. There was a great amount of seasoning on them and they weregood and spicy. My friends ordered the crab burger which was huge and very tasty, as well as the shrimp and fish tacos which hadfresh jalapeño and were absolutely amazing. While waiting for the food to get there, we played a game of jenga and pinball.There are several other activities such as pool, cornhole, a golf game, juke box and a giant outdoor patio. I will definitelycome back next time I am in Suffolk for lunch or take the trip for dinner one night in the near future. I was very happy withthe environment, entertainment, service and food. We tried to order tacos. They were out of taco shells. We ended up ordering the she crab soup which was advertised on the... specials board as $4/cup, boneless wings and shrimp with garlic Parmesan sauce. We waited nearly an hour for our food and whenit came the wings were bone in, not boneless, the shrimp was tossed with Buffalo sauce and not garlic Parmesan sauce and thefries were not even warm. The waitress informed us there was only one person in the kitchen and offered to get the order fixedhowever we were not going to wait another almost hour for a replacement order. So, we decided to make do with what came out.Then we received the check and the she crab soup was $7 AND they added an auto gratuity for a party of 2! I inquired about thebill and the waitress came back and said that the soup was not even supposed to be on the specials board but they did reduce thebill to match. She also said that it was football Sunday and they always add an auto gratuity to the bill. The place had maybe3-4 tables. They were not busy at all. The food we did get was good; however, I wouldn?t recommend this place to anyone. Goingout to eat is way too expensive to have this kind of experience. Read more
