I ate dinner there on Friday. The crab dip has to be the best I have ever tasted. My wife and I both got the seafood platter... which consisted of flounder , shrimp, and a crab cake. 2nd time here and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I had a combo of raw oysters, cesar salad and a crab cake alongside a glass of... champagne. This was a really great place, the food was really good. The Spiked Strawberry Lemonade was great! The Cheese Curds are not... friendly with my taste buds, but maybe someone else's. My wife had the crab cake and I had the flounder basket. Both were great!The staff kind of needs a little bit of a dress code. Kind of felt like I was at Hooters. I visited this place on 6/13/22 This was our first time going and there was nothing mentioned online that this place was... reservations only. Luckily my uncle and sister got their early to get one for 4 when they reopened. When 4 pm arrived all of asudden there was a problem. The hostess with the red hair acted as if she didn't want to be bothered and she informed us thatthe manager did the seating arrangement incorrectly and they were expecting a party so she had to check on seating for us. Therewas 6 of us in my party and there was 7 customers total inside. We looking around trying to figure out what the problem was.There was other nice employees who offered assistance but the girl with the red hair left without telling us that someone wouldassist us. She didn't say a word. After 20 minutes of waiting we finally got seated in the empty restaurant. The waitress we hadwas nice and patient and I want to let you all now that during our entire visit no party ever showed and only about 4 morepeople showed up. So for the unprofessional behavior of the initial hostess I don't know if I will ever re visit thisrestaurant. This type of behavior is unacceptable and we never found out what the real issue was. I ordered the seafood combowhich included crab cakes flounder French fries and shrimp. I only got about 4 pieces of shrimp that was over fried theflounder had no taste whatsoever. Love everything about this place. Love how everyone was super nice, accommodating and cheerful. It was our second time here last... weekend. The first time we were here Aaron, our server, was very kind and really knew how to take care of customers. We werelucky that we got to try this place during the restaurant week. This place has fantastic food and a wonderful view of the water. The price is not too bad, and I will come back again. The... jambalaya was very rich and had some nice spice to it. The andouille sausage was the tastiest part of that dish. The salmon wasalso delicious, and while this may sound odd, the mashed potatoes were my favorite part of that dish. No disrespect to thesalmon, but the creaminess of the mashed potatoes, along with the little pieces of skin, really turned a simple side taste likea delicacy. My two year old is not a fan of greens but kept eating broccoli off the salmon dish. If you can make broccoli apicky two year old will love, then that's some good sh*t. Read more
