First time here and we would not return. They lost their liquor license so have no margaritas or any drinks but no one told us... that coming into the restaurant. Food came out quick but there was a hair in my husband's food and we were still charged forit. Food is bland and watered down. This is not authentic Mexican. Very disappointing. Read more

I?ve been coming here since it was considered ?a hole in the wall? my family would take us and it seriously set the standard for... my pallet on what good quality authentic Mexican food is. This is the place I compare other restaurants in the area because it?sjust so dang good! My favorites are the tacos dorados and the pollo don Manuel, get that with a side of tortillas and oh mygoshhh it?s divine. The Chips and salsa are the best I?ve ever had in my life. I?ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants andvery very few have comparable to the quality here at hacienda. I?ve watched this place go from a hole in the wall to what it isnow and I?m so proud of the owner and the family, the cooks, servers for putting in the hard work to make this place great.Amazing food, great service, and reasonably priced. I rarely order shrimp but this place was actually good. The photos were from 2 different take out orders. One was the taco salad... with shrimp and the other was a variety of tacos. Everything is authentic here. I wish they had the option to order onlinewithout having to call for takeout pickup. This place was in honor of the Father?s name. If you are in Suffern this place is notto be missed. I forgot to mention the beverages are amazing all of them are too good not to try. Comfortable and colorful restaurant. The guacamole(For me, the best thing of this restaurant) was fresh, they prepared with the... ingredients you ask for, and in front of your eyes. Main courses were decent but not great, we didn't like the way they cooked(Tasted chewy), but rice and beans were good. The service was good, is a lot of staff moving around trying to help you inwhatever you need. Read more
Eh...should've tried Agave. Fajitas came out not sizzling. Bone in my colleagues enchilada. Guacamole was at least good.
