I had been following Pickle and Ash on social media for some time before having the occasion to visit. We took a family road... trip from Danville to Wade's orchard and stopped here for lunch on the way back home. The service was stellar. Our waiter,Brandon, was friendly and patient as well as knowledgeable of the menu and the establishment. He happily answered mygrandfather's inquiry of where the name of the restaurant came from. Every dish we ordered was delicious. We split a dessertthat was melt in your mouth amazing. I think we all picked up something in the market as well. Overall, this was such anenjoyable experience and we all look forward to visiting again. If I had to find one complaint, it is only that they have thoselittle metal chairs that are so popular in restaurants now. As a plus sized woman, they just aren't ample enough. Read more

Locally sourced ingredients with wines available from several local vineyards. Very comfortable indoor and outdoor... seating. Pickle & Ash has established a nice reputation in this region. We drove up from Mt Airy, NC to visit and willdefinitely return! The serving team was very accommodating to special requests. Read more

Wow. Words can't capture how truly an amazing experience this was. My wife and I were camping at Fairy Stone Park but needed to... come to town and stopped because of the photos from their Google Reviews. Though they're reservation only they were able tosqueeze us in (thank you so much!). From the cocktails to the brisket tacos, the burger, to dessert everything was STUNNING andabsolutely delicious. I'm so glad we stopped in for this dining experience. The ambience can't be beat and the price wasextremely reasonable for the high quality. Loved the market too and got some great snacks and beverages to take back with us. Read more

Fresh & healthy food! The waiter was very friendly & prompt on service. The drinks were unique and majority of ingredients are... grown in house. The best part about this experience was the desserts. Melt in your mouth cakes/cookies. Will be coming againwhen we visit! Read more

The waitress was wonderful!! The food was unique. There was some miscommunication with the kitchen where what was ordered was... not what was prepared. Some allowances were made for the mix up but they fell short. Read more

Who'd a thunk this place existed in a rural area? Had dinner at the recommendation of a friend. The menu size is perfect, not... overwhelming. My husband ordered broiled trout and I, the 14 is NY strip which was cooked perfectly! Inside dining sits about 40so reservations are recommended. The wait staff was personable and knowledgeable. Chef Chris is a local guy who comes from afamily of restaurantuers. Read more
