They must be understaffed now. Last time I sat down the food was ok but the service was really slow and there weren't that many... people there. This time I ordered takeout and was told an hour wait, which was fine I assumed they were busy. The problem wasthat I got there exactly after an hour and still had to wait around for 30+ minutes! no exaggeration. Read more

I will not eat here again. I ordered chicken pad thai and the noodles were dry and had very little flavor. It tasted like it was... cooked hours earlier and thrown in the microwave when I ordered it. It was by far the worst thai food I have ever had. Read more

I don't believe that I have ever experienced such a tasteless meal. Curry was frozen, udon noodle broth tasted like water, but... the sushi was adequate. There was no one there initially, but a party of eight came in, and they immediately catered to them. Wejust did not complain. We simply paid, tipped, and left. The waiter was quite nice. This is a not a restaurant which we will tryagain. We were there yesterday, Saturday, about 12:30 p.m., party of three. Read more

Pricing for a bowl of Tom kha Gai soup was a complete rip off! 10.50 for a small bowl. 11.50 for 8 pieces of spicy tuna with... rice- this sucked so bad I had to ask for tempura flakes to make it a little bit better. This place has lousy pricing for whatthey provide you, and no way they can blame food pricing has gone up. As a frequent traveler I've seen way better pricing /value options elsewhere. Didn't get pictures of the other entrees but they were pathetic as well. My business is elsewhere Read more

We're sushi snobs, and Sushi Yama is our go-to spot in the Stuart area. Owner (and head sushi chef) Chie gets it right,... focusing on fresh fish, proper rice preparation, great technique, and beautiful presentation. The classics are all there--tuna,salmon, hamachi, ikura, unagi--and a variety of interesting "special" rolls. And be sure to ask Chie what specials he has thatday, from toro to uni to sweet shrimp (if you're more adventurous). We ordered take out during the pandemic, but we're happy tobe back sitting at the sushi bar. We haven't tried the Thai menu, but Chie is from Chiang Mai, so I'm guessing that he knowsquite a bit about the cuisine! Quick note: remember that sushi takes time to prepare, so as popular as Sushi Yama has been forboth take-out and eat-in, you may need to be patient! Read more
