Great food and great homemade desserts at a great price. Service is very good and it's one of very few places that not only have... great did but are open around the clock. Well? we was waiting over 15min. to be served. There was a communication problem between the waitresses. My first raspberry tea... was absolutely to sweat and the taste was not identifiable. So our first experience here is ?Well Not really sure if I like it?. Read more
French toast had good flavor. Hash browns were well done. Waffles here are delicious, airy and light. Enjoyed the fact that... they offer turkey bacon. Although would have been nice if they had turkey sausage as well. Read more
Our first time here. Our server Andrea was friendly, offered great suggestions and was very attentive. We got the pierogis... Appetizer which was delicious, didn't taste like frozen kind. Topped with grilled onions. I had a short Stack of pancakes and agrilled cheese on sourdough bread with French fries. Pancakes are thicker more of a cake-like style. Grilled cheese & fries werefresh and delicious. My husband had the meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and fresh grilled mixed vegetables. Very tasty. Nocomplaints. Everything was delicious. Service was fantastic. No room for desserts but the generous offering of cakes, pies andpastries looked delectable. Restaurant was clean including the rest rooms. First of all, I don?t blame our waitress. (Even if she was unfriendly and made no suggestions) I read a great review about this... place and hoped I would not be one of the ones with a negative experience. I ordered The Mayor sandwich. It was terrible. Not atall what I expected. Tasted like I was eating a cheap hot dog on a stale hoagie roll. My daughter had the chicken pot pie. Shedid not like it. After 1 bite I put my dish at the end of the table. It was so bad! We ended up eating the crust off the pot piebecause the waitress didn?t come back to our table for 17 minutes and we were desperate. Finally she came back and asked us ifwe wanted boxes. I said no and told her I took 1 bite of my sandwich and couldn?t eat it. I didn?t have the heart to tell herthe pot pie was bad as well. She asked me if I would like something else to eat and I told her no, not anymore. (Lost myappetite after 20 mins and pot pie crust) I said we would like some dessert though. And coffee too! We got the Chocolate ChipCheese Cake and the Rice Pudding and both were actually pretty good. But I never did get the coffee I asked for. Our Ice Teaswere also never refilled. Again, I do not blame the waitress as she was the only waitress there. There were 6 tables she wasserving, one of which was a 9 top of high school students and she had ZERO support. The bus lady (who I think was actually thedishwasher) could not have been less interested. There was another waitress there when we got there, but she left soon after.And the 2 guys in the kitchen didn?t seem to notice anything at all. Definitely not worth the $40 we paid to sit there for overan hour. I gave 2 stars because the dessert was good and I don?t blame the waitress for the bad service. I had hoped this couldbe a fun place to take my daughter occasionally on the weekend for a late night meal, but I?m sorry to say we won?t be back andI cannot recommend it to anyone else. Read more
We wanted something different we this stopped and when we went in there were 2 people that greeted us. There was the dessert... right there. They had lots different cheesecake and the chocolate cake. The atmosphere was great. Music was playing. All peoplewere satisfied. The two staff ladies were awesome they were always on it right away no matter if you needed something or ifyou're ready to order they were right on it.
