Yaya’s Fish Fry is my favorite restaurant in the Poconos. I tried their soul food menu this past Sunday. I was very pleased... with my entire meal. I had the fried whiting, collard greens, mac & cheese, cole slaw, and cornbread. Everything was seasonedproperly. The portions were great as well. I was able to make two meals out of one. I always love a good seafood platter so was looking forward to trying this spot. I called in my order of the steamed flounder... with rice and a side of vegetables. For dessert I ordered the peach cobbler and for my drink I got the uptown. When I arrived Iparked in the plaza lot. I walked in and waited a bit for someone to come to the front. The server came up and I gave him myname. He grabbed my food and I paid and left. When I got in I dug in. Let\'s start with the uptown drink, that was very tasty.The peach cobbler was also tasty. Now the flounder dish and the vegetables were very bland. I tried my hardest to enjoy it butit wasn\'t my cup of tea. All in all I had an ok experience. Read more
Soooo happy I tried YaYa’s today! I got the fried cod and seasoned fries with tartar sauce and coleslaw. The food was ready... fast, and everything was cooked to perfection. Most amazing experience I\'ve ever had! Everything is made from scratch! The catfish nuggets were amazing! The owner is so cool... he actually sat at a table and talked to me! This has to be the best restaurant in Northeast Pennsylvania! Oh and dont forget tosnag a seafood eggroll!!! Read more
