I have purchased crabs from the Blue Crab House on numerous occasions and have always been satisfied with each crab order.... Unfortunately, today I ordered a dozen large crabs and was very disappointed. Specifically, I was shocked to see how smallthese ?large? crabs were. I always order large crabs so the size difference was immediately apparent when they were dumped ontothe table. The crabs were very dry and did not appear to be fresh. This sucks because we normally purchase decent crabs here.It?s hard to justify spending 90.00 for a dozen crabs when the quality stinks so we will go elsewhere in the future. Read more

Crabs really good. We never buy anything less than extra large. The rest of the items for sale in the refrigerator cases have... all gone down hill. They don't make salads and soups the way they used to so we just get crabs. Thankfully I got the old shrimpmac salad recipe awhile ago from a friend who used to work there. Read more
