Food was surprising, I ordered the BBQ wings sauce was good, the meat was scarce but ok. the mango special sauce they had was... amazing and made the meal rather enjoyable, fries tasted great too. Read more
Wow! My dinner tonight was so absolutely delicious! I ordered a wing/perch combo dinner, 1/2 chicken dinner, okra, and an... extra huge container of coleslaw bc it?s the bomb. For dessert the taffy grapes. First off, the chicken breast was so juicy andseasoned to perfection! The okra was crisp, not greasy and hands down the best fried okra I have ever had! They pepper up thecoleslaw which is killer! I am not going to lie, I was not impressed with the mild sauce when I first started coming here abouta year ago. I could not understand the hype?..Today, I actually devour it! Lol. It grows on you the more you have it! Imagine asweet BBQ sauce but magnified. They even sell it by the gallon! The taffy grapes were good as well. They come from a local spotcalled The Cake Factory, located in Alsip. They are green grapes half dipped in white chocolate and rolled in crushed peanuts.Pretty awesome and not overly sweet! The prices are so reasonable!!!! My wife & I traveled from Normal,Il on our 31st wedding anniversary & we were not disappointed! The food was excellent, the... staff was friendly, & we will go there again. I don?t eat okra , but the wife does. She got an order & I ate about 8 pieces offried okra & enjoyed it!!! Try the fried green tomatoes also? they?re the BOMB!!! Read more
