Came in for lunch on a Friday. There were only two other tables in the entire place and at least 4 serving staff, plus kitchen... staff and someone dragging around a mop bucket. Our server wasn?t terrible, but definitely not friendly or welcoming either. Wesat with dirty plates on our table for quite a lot longer than reasonable, had to ask several times for refills on drinks, andthe food was very disappointing. I?m quite sure that the veggies and spaghetti were made days ahead, and as our food was notwarm when we got it, but the plates were hot, telling me it sat under a heat lamp for way too long before they decided to serveit to us. Everything on our plates had a yesterday?s leftovers vibe. Fish was very greasy also, like dripping. Even the chequewas stained with grease when she dropped it off at the table. Based on the food, I definitely would not go back. The restaurantis definitely in need of a good deep clean also- our table was sticky and there were greasy hand prints all over the walls. Wemade the drive out to Strathmore for the unique atmosphere, and that is still pretty cool, and this place?s one redeemingquality. I?d been before and it definitely felt like the food took a hard nose dive today- so I?d recommend only go when theyare busy, because then you know you?re not getting served really old food, for top dollar. The owners need to pay more attentionto these details, this place has great potential to be a real gem or to close. Read more

We first sat at a table that was way too high for the bonket - the table was up to our chest. Then moved to another table where... there was no overhead light, despite a electric socket overhead - had to use phone flashlight to see the menu. The appetizer wasdelicious and the waitress was accommodating. It's a good thing the waitress memorized the alcohol menu as they don't provideone at all from what we could see. We were going to stay for dinner but didn't want to dine in the dark. Read more

A busy place on weekends! But they managed to get a party of 12 in. It took a while for food but everyone enjoyed. Little mix up... in the kitchen resulting in us missing a meal but they got it out fairly quick and compted it plus were very apologetic. Therestaurant is a fun train theme, bathrooms were very well kept especially for peak hours. The food was very good, shared aplatter and it was different but I enjoyed. The hot wings are a must have, some of the best I've had! This is a great option ifyou're staying locally or even driving through! Highly recommend! Read more

Small town steak meal at its best. Steak was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Great flavour and everything came out fresh... and hot. We had a large group and everything was awesome. Service and speed were great. If you are in town you must visit thisplace. Read more

The steak sandwhich could've been A+ if they used a different part of the cow, making the steak a little more tender, as i found... it a bit tough. But the Quesadilla was absolutely delicious. The flavors just worked so well. I also fell in love with thetomato soup. It was amazing and nothing felt overpowering. Service was also amazing along with the set up and feel of therestaurant. Taking the whole experience into account, 5 star is deserved. Read more

Very nice, pretty facility with friendly employees. The restaurant could also be seen as a museum, according to all the railway... posters and informative texts. Food was fine, decent :) It's a really interesting place to visit, can recommend! Read more
