One of the best places I've been to in a while. I have been here a few times now having a mix of burgers, brisket, sandwiches,... and others. Great pricing for the amount of food and you don't feel shorted. The only caution I would share is don't let yourteen order themselves the fire alarm burger, unless they have a high tolerance for spicy food. Read more

Very good food. Big menu lots to choose from. Friendly staff. The spinich bread starter is very good. And big portions which... seems to be rare now. And a lot to look at. Old movie and tv show posters plaster the walls so you'll spend any time waitinglooking around finding all the shows you remember. Read more

Needed a place to eat after my daughter is performance yesterday in Strathmore and I wasn't going to go to the station House... with their limited menu. So decided to try humpty's but humpty's is gone and now it's Mike's bar and grill and we're glad we didfood was good prices were good atmosphere was definitely interesting I think they're still working on it they're looking at an'80s motif I did mention to them that they might want to think about having some videos rolling with '80s movies and videos andstuff like that on the other TVs very interesting menu had some things that I would like to try but didn't have a chance to havethe brisket sandwich with fries my mother had fish and chips and my aunt had a chicken sandwich I believe it was anyway I willdefinitely come back and try it again sometime very friendly staff good food and good value! This one was tricky. We Googled "places to eat in Strathmore" and came up with a variety of local and franchise restaurants. ... Mike's had a pretty good rating so off we went for breakfast. Pulling up it was ' I don't know, but we're here ' moment, so inwe went. Clean, friendly, a weird but almost there 80's vibe and the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE we had during our vacation. Ourwaitress was super polite, fast, wrote everything down (there's nothing worse then a waiter who thinks they have the perfectmemory when it comes to your order) and our food was delicious...and huge. Our waitress was by herself, the owner handling thedoor and never was there a moment for want. Coffees were full, dirty dishes were removed and there was friendly chatter withall of her tables. I'm sure everyone has had the "check please" moment where you ask and then 15 minutes later you finally getit....not this time. She had our bill ready and in hand followed by takeout containers within a minute. This one wastricky...like I said. The building was questionable. The men's bathroom was worth holding it. And there was some issue with arestraining order with a customer which the owner handled perfectly. That being said, the food and the amazing service of thisone waitress (I wish I got her name) made this what it was. I don't give out 5 star ratings very often and I can't guaranteethat you'll have the same experience that we did but breakfast at Mike's was easily the best we had during our 4 day Albertaadventure. The wings were AH-MAZING. Mike served us personally, and it was overall a fantastic experience. Not only was Mike and his staff... absolutely rocking it on a super short staffed night, but the food was so so good. We will definitely be back again for thewing night for sure! Read more
