Nestled on the top of... a hill overlooking the grape hedgerows, Star in the Valley\'s tasting room is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy a glassor 2. Ample seating for all group sizes, we came on a Saturday afternoon and had no problem grabbing a table.\n\nService: 5/5.The staff operating the tasting room we\'re great! Very helpful in offering recommendations and giving us a brief backgroundstory of the vineyard.\n\nWine: 5/5. I have always held mixed feelings for Virginia wine, however Star in the Valley\'sofferings were decent. We opted to do 2 wine flights which allowed us to try their entire wine portfolio. Highlights from thetasting we\'re the Cab Franc, Chardonel and the dry rose. All in all, fun wines and an even better atmosphere! Read more

Awesome location and friendly staff. The wines were on the drier side, and while I tend to prefer sweets/semi-sweets, I still... really enjoyed them. The tasting room was fresh, clean, and modern. Definitely unique compared to other wineries in the area. Read more
Absolutely stunning view and beautiful vineyard with a relaxing ambiance while you sip on some delicious wine. Staff was... friendly, knowledgeable, and great help in choosing what to get based on usual preferences. The Paloma was insanely good and werecommend getting one if it\'s available! Talk about a hidden gem ??\n\nStar in the Valley has an incredible wine list, the Cab Franc is one of the best I?ve had in a... long time.\nAlso the Chardonel was a new to me experience that?s worth mentioning. I?m a huge Chardonnay fan and this hits atthe top of my list.\n\nThe views are serene, atmosphere is peaceful. Very clean and well cared for on the grounds andinside.\n\nThe owner is thoughtful, kind and personable. Star in the Valley has a stunning view of the Shenandoah Valley. We very much enjoyed not only the view, but the very excellent... locally grown and produced red wine. They also had a wonderful local cheese board available that we highly recommend! The beatwinery experience I?ve had in 2020, by far. We?ll definitely be back. Read more
