We got a king lake side view on me and my wife's honeymoon and we were expecting to go to the pool but the inside wasn't open... and we wouldn't have booked it that day if we would have done more research, it was sad but it was our fault we didn't read andplan thoroughly. The room was wonderful, wished the pillows were a bit more firm, bring your own pillow if you could significantcomfort increase if you do. Blankets were wonderful, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. 10/10 would bookproperly next time we visit to get happy full experience. Read more
It has gone downhill a lot over the years. Rooms were clean but very old. Wall paper peeling, very dark, our phone didn?t work.... Front desk staff was kind but not helpful when it came to check in and phone not working. Fitness center was a dungeon with veryold and minimal equipment. The outdoor areas are beautiful and lake view helps bring rating from 1 to 2. They definitely need todo some renovations to improve rooms soon! Read more
Very nice staff and clean facility. You can tell they have been working on cleaning it up recently and it looks great.... Lifeguards were very attentive and friendly. Excellent price for what you get. Nice being able to leave the pool and go to yourroom for awhile and then return to the pool. Perfect local getaway for families with young children. Also the views of the lakeare amazing. We will definitely be back! Read more
Not enough floats for the lazy river or the ride that uses one. Food stand was inside by the kids inside park. Nachos and cheese... was a bag of chips and cheese separate. The cheese was not enough for the bag of chips so get the extra cheese. Had 1 slideclosed when we went. Other than that it was nice cool water. It was a fun time with family. Read more
Love it. Everything was perfect. Good service. The only thing I'll suggest it's in the Lazy river the lifeguards should make... sure that people with or without floating tubes don't stay standing-stocking in the middle doing nothing just looking for theones comes out from the big long sliders. Especially large groups, it makes everyone get stocks waiting for then to move. Ifthey want to just look stay outside and let others enjoy. It happened to us yesterday...several times. I think this is unrespectful for others. Read more

Kristal at the front desk is absolutely amazing and super hospitable!! We had a beautiful suite room, the only thing is it's a... bit pricey for a resort town that isn't too impressive anymore... The Tyson plant up the road doesn't smell great either. Butall in all when in town we love staying here and the staff is fantastic! Read more
Amy the manager went so far above and beyond helping our family with our stay I can easily say she deserves a raise. Amy is an... upstanding member of the Storm Lake community. My family and I can not say enough positive things about her! She absolutely madeour time at King's Pointe amazing all on her own.
