The food was incredible at the place and the service was even better. My two friends and I happened upon this place and I'm so... glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and made to feel more than welcome. Our server, Vinny, wasINCREDIBLE! My friends got the French dip, the open faced roast beef sandwiches and I got the short rib sandwich. The were allincredible but Vinny said the short rib was the best thing on the menu so I got it. I 100% AGREE! It was the most tender shortrib and it just melted in my mouth! Plus, the fries were outstanding as well. We had come in from a hike and got hot chocolate& even that was amazing! I had a great time visiting the Stony Point Family Diner! Service was prompt, and courteous. The owners were engaged and they... checked on us more than once to see how the meal was going. I had meatloaf which I consider a Diner staple, and they didn'tdisappoint. It was covered in a nice fresh mushroom gravy. For sides I got broccoli, which was well cooked, and stewed zucchini,which was really nicely flavored. I wish more places served zucchini like that. The soup to start the meal was also great. I have been in the Northeast for about 9 months and have eaten at a few dozen places so far. This is hands down my favorite. It... has a family feel with so many regular customers who the staff interact with so beautifully. The service was fast and amazing. Ihad the New York Panini which was a solid 8/10. We like our food a little saltier in the south I think. But easy fix, littlesalt made it a 10. Fries were perfect, crispy and flavorful. This restaurant is a definite gem. Read more

This place is amazing. Great food and great people. The waiters are very attentive and the host goes above and beyond. I... recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food did not disappoint. I got the special which was lemon oreganochicken and as simple as it looks it is delicious for what it is. I also want to add that this place has amazing coffee. Good portions, great taste and decent prices with everything you expect from a diner and more. The staff is friendly and... patient, ample indoor seating, car parking and they also have a nice Fall themed special menu.
