Hangry has been one of our take out places to go since they opened. The food is always good and usually pretty warm still when... we drive from 50rd to Beamsville. However the last few times, the food hasn't been so hot, like tonight we had to warm up thechicken but the potatoes were still hot. Also we always order extra salad dressing but the last 3 times have not received itafter paying for it. I am truly reconsidering staying a patron. We picked up dinner Friday night. I got tenders and potatoes. I should have had te ders in picture too as they were horrible... also. Burnt and dry also. The potatoes were unedible. Hard as a rock almost right through whole potato. I called and the girlwho answered eas very apologetic and assured id receive a call from manager later or next day for sure...... I didnt! We were very excited to try this place but were disappointed. The sides were really good but we didn't get the Piri Piri mayo... for the fries which we really wanted to try. We asked for utensils and only got one fork (for 2). The chicken was terrible andcold we had already driven away to eat if not we would have returned it. Half the menu was sold out. Visited here about 6 months ago. Prices were reasonable, portion size was pretty good, but the chicken sandwiches had too much... bread and mayonnaise. They were tasty otherwise. Read more

Today was my husband and I first time going to this restaurant and it was fantastic. I ordered their pulled chicken which was so... moist and not dry at all, the sandwich was HUGE I could barely fit my mouth around it. I got it with a side of salad which wasjust as delicious! My husband got the hot honey chicken sandwich and oh?my?goodness? was it ever good. The chicken had this nicechar on it and their special honey sauce that was on it was so good I had to ask if they sold it, they unfortunately do not butthe lady( half shaved head, dark hair ) gave us a few cups of the sauce to take home, which was unexpected because restaurantswould never do that. Second time visiting, and both times picked up the family meal. For around $45, you get a whole chicken,  conveniently cut up,... and three sides.  This was more than enough for two adults and two hungry boys! Chicken was well cooked and "fall off thebone" tender.  We elected for the mild sauce with hot on the side. The potatoes and rice sides were quite good and generousportions.  First time tried the vegetables and the second time had salad.   The vegetables were decent but their salad wasthe better option in my opinion. Service was reasonably fast, I visited around 6pm on a Friday and only had to wait 15 minuteswhich isn't bad. Interesting sauce compared to all piri-piri sauce that Ive tried. Generously covered the chicken which is sooo amazong, could be... spicier and the chicken could be crispier. Love the potatoes and long grained rice. Fast service and friendly staff. Read more
