Not so nice mon is what I call it. Awful. The cabbage is not really cabbage but celery and celery leaves half cooked . The peas... and rice undercooked and very spicy and the jerk chicken not edible covered in spice. I was not even sure if it was chicken. Thebusiness should invest in a ticket system because they don't write down or remember orders taken. They use microwaves to wFm thefood so the food is not cooked to order just warmed and handed to the customer. Awful first time experience and my last. Wow ? this place is DELICIOUS, and truly a model for how amazing a small business can be. We were immediately taken care of and... felt like family. the oxtails were nice and tender, the rice and peas were on point. with the jerk chicken you could really taste the smoke from... the grill, good flavor, I could use a tad more spice but that's just me. the reason I'm not giving this a 5 is because thecabbage was something. it had celery, and squash in it, but it also had some weird Italian like seasoning on it, I don't knowwhat is was but I wasn't feeling it. next time I go I'll get the salad or the mixed veg. also the lemonade is pretty good! 4.0 | Nice Mon is some of the most authentic Jamaican food I?ve had from a restaurant as a Jamaican. They are probably still... take out only, but as you walk in they have a wall of celebs as well, as any good Jamaican restaurant should, of folks that havestopped in. The good part is that they often have what you need. They are sometimes out of things but that?s been more rare herethan common. I would highly recommend their stew peas and oxtail. It was almost as good as my mother?s lol. I would say the jerkis also heralded here, as well as the brown stew chicken. my go to would be fried chicken often at a Jamaican spot, but theyonly serve that on Fridays. check it out if you?re missing home or just love Jamaican food! The food here is ALWAYS good!!! They never disappoint. I would suggest steamed veggies versus a salad. The salad is always mushy... by the time I get home to eat. If salad is the preferred choice, it needs to be prepared in a different container. Keep the coldand hot foods separate. Read more

I was in shock. I was greeted immediately upon entry and the clerk was friendly and helpful. My food came out fast and boy, was... it delicious! The rice and peas were flavorful, the cabbage was just right, and the oxtails and butter beans were seasoned toperfection and the gravy was amazing. I usually hate gravy but it was amazing.
