This was the strongest experience in a Waffle House we've ever had... I don't know if we arrived at shift change or it was just... the norm for that location but out of the dozens of Waffle House's we've eaten at in life this was the strangest one ever. Thenew design for the building looked great. A seperate section for to-go orders was something needed years ago. It was the staffthat threw us off. The first server that took our order spent more time staring out the window then listening to request.... Thecook over cooked the scambled eggs, the hash browns were horrible, the grits werein the wet.. the strawberry jelly had agreenish tint..... So we paid for or order left everything uneaten on the table and left.... Oh well Read more

It took forever to order take out food. We were there probably close to an hour for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks. And then they... forgot our orange juices and then said they were out when we realized they were missing and we went back for them. Thesandwiches were good. Read more
We came here to order our food and once we arrived..the cook disappeared to the restroom and the lady (waitress) went outside... to take a smoke break. We have been in here for 30min. Never in my life I have experienced something like this. Unprofessionalstaff. We left with no service after 30min of patiently waiting and no service. We will not be ordering at this location everagain nor refer anyone to order here. I am all for customer service and I am a very kind person, but the situation tonight washandled highly unprofessional. It?s a great disappointment when you have staff that does not want to work. Cameras will provethat we were patient and this review is not falsified. Workers have to do better with customer service. This was the nighttopper for us. Read more

Waffle House on Highway 138 proved to be a LIFE SAVER on the Thanksgiving Holiday, when the Waffle House on Fairview Road in... Ellenwood and the Waffle House on Anvil Block Road in Ellenwood were BOTH closed. Not everyone is a celebrator of Thanksgiving,and depends on the Waffle Houses to be open for good food. Thank you to the cook as well as our EXCELLENT Waitress, Vita whosaved our party of five's night in the midst of our starving from playing hours of pickleball. Vita was on it! She took ourorders and our drinks were out quickly. The cook was awesome too because our food was out fast. I only gave a four star ratingbecause three of us ordered grits and they were cold. And we did not want to send anything back. So I personally ate my gritswith my hot Fiesta Omelet and that kind of made up for it. Overall it was a great experience. Everyone was satisfied.
