This is the worst cookie place. I ordered a cake on Monday to pick up Thursday. Got there paid for told it wasn?t Finished and... it will take an hour. Then they say they haven?t even started the cake and it will be two hours. So I asked for a refund sincethe cake wasn?t even started yet and they told me they don?t know how to do a refund and I will have to call back in the morningto speak to the manager. Both of the kids that are working in there have no idea what?s going on or what to do. Call the greatAmerican cookie place in McDonough they made the cake in 30 minutes. The young lady at the counter was super helpful and pleasant. Strangely the cookies were very bland and flavorless. I ordered... three different varieties. That was a first for this company. I probably won't stop by this location again. Read more
Customer service has gone downhill. Three Sundays ago, the lady ahead of me got some cookies and a cup of ice cream with a lid.... She asked if she could have a bag for the small cup of ice cream and the disinterested teen girl employee looked at her likeshe was bothering her and said they didn't have bags. The lady asked incredulously, "You don't have any bags?" And the girlsaid no. Meanwhile, the lady's cookies had been put in a small bag. Why not give her one of those for the ice cream? And thenI paid for my 1 cookie with icing, which was the already ridiculous price of $3.50, gave a different disinterested teen girl a$5 and she had the nerve to ask me if I wanted my change. Yes, dear, I am not giving you a $1.50 tip for ringing me up for anoverpriced cookie. Quite entitled of her to just boldly ask for it, don't you think? Just terrible customer service. Read more
I ordered two regular sized milkshakes, one chocolate and one strawberry. I noticed the young lady making the shakes using two... small cups for sizing but I didn?t say anything, thinking once the milk is added and blended that it would be put into a regularsized cup. Unfortunately, once the shakes were blended she proceeded to put them in the same small cups used for the sizing.Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I assumed she heard two small cups instead of regular and as long as she charged me for thesmall cups I figure why make a big deal out of something small. To my surprise she charged me for two regular cups. When I askedher about it, she said she put more ice cream in them and that it was better than putting them in the regular cup. How?! How cananyone assume that you give anyone less fluid and it equals more? Read more
Not that many flavors but it?s a small shop with good flavors, toppings and cookies to choose from. The pricing is pretty... average for your local ice cream shop...we usually spend about $8-10 for 2 which isn?t that bad.
