First of alllllll they charging $12 for a 6pc combo. I wanted honey hot wings they tried to charge 1.99 because it?s Not... considered an ?American deli? flavor. Be careful people. Ok,. They say they stop taking phone orders at 8:45pm. However it was 8:41pm. Then the female employee says... " you will have to come in person before 9 pm , we only taking wings and fry orders. I arrived at 8:51pm. They have the doorslocked and lights off. I went into American deli on Saturday, August 13, 2022 and ordered a Philly cheesesteak with mild wings and a six piece mild... combo with a lemonade. When I received my order I was charged $28.59 I look at my receipt and I was charge for a small fry for$1.99I advised the cashier that I did not order a fry and waited for a refund. The cashier Shay was very rude and advised that Iwould have to wait to get my money until she cash out to other people. I spend a lot of money in American deli all the timebecause I eat there a lot and I am a repeat customer I will not be miss treated when I come here because I patronize thisrestaurant when Ashley is the cashier I never have a problem . I think that the new people that you hire should respect theircustomers and know customer service goes a long way when working in a restaurant when I come in I do not want Shay to wait on meI will wait for another cashier or I will go to another American deli so I advise the manager or owner to speak with yourcashiers about customer service. I got the Philly cheesesteak meal w fries; no modifications. I never ate such a flavorless Philly in my life. Maybe they?re... having a bad day, but it wasn?t so busy with one cook watching another who prepared my sandwich. The crinkle fries were lightand crunchy to perfection. The cherry Fanta soda was bubbly and fruity ????. The staff including the female cashier wasprofessional and delightful. CHRISTINA, and SERGIO are the most unprofessional employees I?ve met. After being served BLOODY chicken, Christina informed me... that I could have my meal replaced - my name was posted on the board. Considering the circumstances, Christina reassured me thatI would not have to return the food, thus I threw it away. Today, after attempting to receive my replacement, I was told byChristina that they wouldn?t be replacing my meal. For 30 minutes, these individuals ignored me as I waited to receive myreplacement - they finally had the older Africa American woman tell me to come back Friday (ON CHRISTMAS), to speak to theowner, who they ?can?t? release their name. It?s evident they wanted me to leave, however, why is this acceptable? I nowunderstand why individuals consistently have issues with American Deli. American Deli is the prime example of a ?CULTUREVULTURE? - they conduct business in African American communities, but, they consistently treat blacks as if we?re undeserving ofgood communication, and good customer service.
