Just ordered from this place a week ago, the food was exceptional, huge portion sizes, and wonderful service/efficiency. Before... coming to write this review, I noticed a decent amount of bad reviews. Mainly complaining about customer service, I personallywill say that the customer service I?ve received has been great! The owner is very kind and looks to work very hard. WORST SERVICE, WORST RESTAURANT. If you like the person taking your order accusing you of lying when they did not place you... order properly, this is the place for you. Dig in some of the older reviews and you will fond the same scenario over and over.They like being condescending to their customers and when misplacing items on your order will still arguee with you, offering noreimbursement as per their business policy. Received an incorrect order. The lady (the owner, I'm assuming) did not want to admit she made an error and did not want to... compensate us in any way. We even drove back to the restaurant to try to work things out and it went even worst. She's rude,condescending and treated us like complete garbage. I don't know how someone can treat people like this, especially customers.Keep on reading other reviews, this has happen to other folks too. Save your money, not wroth the trip to Lucky Dragon. Well let?s just say oil changes are not just for vehicles it?s also for restaurants that fry food. Man the oil was rancid here... and had all that lovely flavour in what I purchased. Not only that one would expect rice to be a no brainer for an Asianrestaurant there signature rice dish tasted like the rice was past its sell by date for at least a year or more. Expensive place but half decent food. Egg rolls were good, rice was ok, chicken almond guy ding lacked flavour, and the chicken... balls need a complete new recipe for the batter and sauce. Other then that I don't think they use MSG (massive plus and reasonfor 2 star) I don't think I will try again.. lastly, the fortune cookie was the usual standard so extra star for that. Read more

We had a great meal! We ordered the dinner for 4 with the addition of general thao chicken. Such a good meal. The food was fresh... and hot. The chicken balls were perfect and the egg roll was the best we have had. I would recommend this restaurant toeveryone. Read more

Tried Lucky Dragon last night for the first time and the food is excellent. Moved to Ottawa recently and was looking for a... decent Chinese restaurant. They have excellent vegetarian/vegan options. We ordered two noodle dishes and one rice dish with aside order of spring rolls. I don?t usually like spring rolls but these were really good. Most of the negative reviews are justdumb and have nothing to do with the quality of the food. Also don?t order the items with the pepper next to them if you don?tlike spicy food. Those are spicy just the way I like them and are not too hot. The prices are also not expensive and it will beone of the regular places I will order from now on. Read more
