We drove from Lake City, MN to Stilllwater, MN which was over an hour of driving to try their chicken fried steak since we were... craving and it showed good reviews. We tried the soup for the day - chicken dumpling - and was immediately disappointed with theconsistency and texture of the soup (as shown on the photo). We pnly took a few bites to taste and had the server take it away.We waited for over 35mins for our food to be served. One of the water served to us had something in it, disgusting. We asked itbe replaced of course... When our food finally arrived. The chicken friend steak was not the best. Again the consistency of thegravy and had a distinct taste that was not delicious. I woulf say it may be just OK for some. Anothet item we ordered was theHot Beef sandwich, it did not have the sandwich... it was just the pot roast on top of the mashed potatoes. I gave my biscuit tomy friend hence why you see two biscuits on their plate but it only comes with one. Overall, we are definitely not coming backhere. My friend was still generous enough to leave a 30% tip to the server since we still appreciate being served just not thebest service out there. Read more
Great food! Great service! Our server Zach was friendly and knew the menu well. The onion rings are served with a horseradish... sauce and were excellent. I had the avocado omelette and it was delicious. Great drink selection too. Can?t wait to get back. Read more

We were all desperately in need of some brunch to bring us back to life after a long night of galavanting in stillwater. This... place did the trick. The hostess was basically a super hero, running back and forth and seating the entire (very busy) place byherself. There were 6 of us and we asked to sit outside and with 15mn or so she had two tables for us ready to go. The food wasfairly standard diner fare, the coffee was good. Our waitress was fantastic and got everyone's orders down despite a handful ofspecial requests and dietary restrictions. My one complaint is the Bloody. Three of us got them and none of us even finishedhalf. The mix was watery and lacked any depth of flavor. That being said, I'd go back - I'd just get a mimosa this time! Read more
Warm friendly staff, food tasted divine (I had the avocado omelet and perfect hash browns), and the view of the river and... bridges was great even in winter. Love the large windowed garage doors. Would love to come back in warm weather. So glad Istopped in to try something new! Read more

Very yummy place!! The wait staff are so friendly and helpful! We are not from here and had a great experience. They had a lot... of local beers and hot sauce. They have a full bar and comfort food. Biscuits and gravy were delicious! Read more
Great brunch food with a great view. Staff was friendly and the soup I had was very tasty. Across the road is a great trail... along the river with some seating. Overall great quality food for the cost. Read more
