My Fiance took Me and Her Dad there for Father's Day. Their was a party,which they let go over time. We had a 430 reservation ... in which we got there early. We were the 3rd group in(4). The gentleman behind the bar finally comes over and take our order.After sitting til 630 we asked if our order was ready,the waitress replied let me check. Well to our surprise the order was leftat the bar,so we asked where was the guy who took the order. The response was he left . We received our order about 7pm. The worst dining experience I?ve ever had. I made reservations 2 weeks before my expected day of arrival (Mother?s Day) I spoke... with the staff 3 different occasions regarding the number of people that would be attending the restaurant. I get to therestaurant with my mother and stood at the hostess booth for approximately 30 minutes waiting to be acknowledged and seated. Noone never acknowledged us nor seated us for 30 minutes. I finally flagged down a waiter walking by to ask if someone was goingto seat us for our reservation. The waiter checked the reservation list , found my reservation and then proceeded to try andfind a table for us to sit at. Even though I made my reservation well in advanced, there was NO reserved table ready for us.Once we were seated we waited another 45 minutes for someone to acknowledge us, bring water and take our order. Needless to say, No one ever approached the table. I began to notice after being in the restaurant for another 1 hour & 20 minutes, NO ONE inthe entire restaurant was eating, not one single person in the entire restaurant had a plate of food in front of them. I startedlistening to the waiter and waitresses take food orders from the other patrons and continuously heard over and over ? we?re outof this and that?. How can you possibly be out of food items and not one single person has food at the table. We finally decidedto leave the establishment. It was the worst dining experience I?ve ever had. My 1st visit here, probably my last. My plate alone was almost $40 and the portions are very small. Still left hungry small lol... The food is okay & The customer service definitely could be improved, the ladies restroom had no tissue in the stall and it wasnot busy at all when I went maybe 4-5 ppl in there. Read more

Husband's meal: Salmon Croquet with Mac & Cheese and Candy Yams - not really good, Croquet was over-cooked and bready and Mac &... Cheese was average; yams were good. My meal: Fried catfish with cornbread dressing and greens. The fish and greens were ok. Idid not enjoy the dressing (on the sweet side). Cornbread was good. Appetizer: Collard Green Dip - The presentation of food(better yet the 1st impression) was not good. It really did not look edible but after a few bites, it was ok. It's a taste thatyou have to get use to. Overall we spent $70 for food that was worth $35 (or less). I wanted to support the business but therecipes need a bit more improvement... probably most likely will not return. Read more
Posted a picture of their menu thought it was going to be very awesome. Black owned let me check them out horrible the host set... us then came back few minutes later with water ask about appetizer they had none of the appetizers but two. Then when you askfor certain things he went back then had to come back and tell you they didn't have it then when you're ready to order your foodor drink he didn't come back for minutes so we set there probably about 30 minutes before we can even attempt to order food thatthey had to keep coming to tell us that they didn't have. So that was just a boat experience after while I kind of drink mywater got up and left so didn't even really get to try their food out. So just with the service alone for the price that he wantfor the food the food problem would have been horrible. Asked to speak with the manager which the gentleman stated was mr. We ordered takeout at the restaurant. The staff were nice and professional. It was quick to make our order and the food was hot.... It did take 30 minutes, but they told us this and had it promptly at the time specified. Of course since this is not fast food,we happily waited that amount of time. So worth the wait. The food well seasoned and a great portion. We also had Faygo floats???? brought me back to my childhood. I'd say the only downside is the size of the dining room. Once people realize this placeis here, good luck getting a table. Also Thursday is comedy night. I gotta make sure I go experience that! Read more
Atmosphere is nice.Prices are high. Food was pretty good but expected better. Charge $22 for Five wings only received four.... When brought it to the attention of our waiter, We finally received the fifth wing which was just a little bigger then a wingfrom Captain Jays.
