Love this place! Employees are super nice and I've never had a bad meal here. Definitely recommend picking up some gnocchi... during their weekly Gnocchi Thursday specials. Food was excellent. As good or better than some of the much more expensive Italian eateries in the area. The lady serving us was... very attentive and super friendly. I need to go back and work my way through the appetizers. We had the aranchini, but therewere so many other great things we wanted to try. A nice little spot right in the middle of a small shopping/dinning plaza. The service was great and super friendly. It offers... apps, salads, sandwiches and homemade pasta as their main focus. A small but nice beer and wine selection. They have a varietyof different pastas and sauces. My main drawback was that all four of the pasta dishes we ordered were drowning in sauce incomparison to the amount of pasta given. On top of that the Sqiud ink Tagliatelle they offer is not Tagliatelle at all. It issquare cut spaghetti. So when they dropped it off I was quite surprised and taken back. I asked the service about it afterwardsand she said it was due to the squid ink which didn't make much sense to me as the shape of the pasta shouldn't be effected bycoloring. Ok a good note! The Chef created a Masterpiece, by far, the most delicious Panini i have ever had, the sandwich is so well balanced that every... bite takes you to a little province in Italy, the sourdough bread is perfect, Olive oil is well balanced and delicious, the restis just Art!!! Urbano is delicious! We were sad to see Cafe Cubano close, but I've got to say I'm not anymore. I am so glad my family decided... to try it out. We ordered to-go, but there were plenty of nice seats inside and outdoors. There were five of us, and we spliteverything. We had three appetizers: artichoke frita, cheesey garlic bread, and the arancini. Each were so delicious. We wishedwe ordered more of all of them. The garlic bread is just one piece of bread cut in half, and the arancini comes with 4 balls.The frita was around 9 pieces, which was a good amount, and came with a delicious lemon dip. We also had three entrees:. Theroasted garlic lemon chicken, ricotta and spinach ravioli, and the strozzapreti. The pasta comes in Chinese takout-lookingboxes that come filled to the brim. I especially loved the strozzapreti, but everything was so good. The lemon flavor of thechicken was delicious too! We will definitely be back to try everything else! Read more
Stopped by for a bite to eat before shopping in the area. Friendly service at the counter. They've got a few tables indoors and... a nice covered patio with a handful of tables for outdoor dining. Opted for outdoor dining this weekend. Got a couple apps anda pasta to share. Loved the texture of the strozzapreti. Sauce was delish. Think I could eat that on everything. Sort of did asI dipped the arancini and artichoke fries into it! :) Will go back to try more things on the menu. Excited for this addition to the cascades overlook shopping center. I stopped in and ordered a salad and coffee for lunch and... they brought it out to me at one of the many tables outdoors. They also had a lot of yummy looking baked goods cutely wrappedin ribbon can?t wait to try their pasta and desserts!
