My family and I have been coming here since originally opened so needless to say, I feel qualified to review China King. This... has never been ?the best Chinese food in town? type of place but has always been consistent. After moving away from the areaand recently visiting, I thought I?d get my usual Chinese comfort food. I placed my order of chicken and vegetables for pick-upvia phone and was SHOCKED when she said my order would be ready in 5 minutes. Although I can appreciate the low wait time, thattells me the food is not made fresh- disappointing. From entering the store, I immediately noticed their online menu prices aredifferent than in-store. The online menu needs to be updated as the prices are listed cheaper (about $1 or so cheaper). I waspleased with the portion sizes. It is a consistent theme that the food lacked flavor. The fried rice was just white rice withsoy sauce squeezed on top and most of the vegetables were clearly canned. After tip, I spent a little over $10. Will I comeback here? Maybe. I am a loyal customer but did not enjoy the quality of food for the price. Read more
My food was absolutely disgusting. I order sesame chicken and veggie lo mein from Chinese restaurants and I?ve never had one... with such subpar quality and taste. The veggie lo mein tasted like they opened up canned veggies and dumbed them right on top ofnoodles with no sauce or any type of flavoring. It was so dry. Gross. The sesame chicken was dry, and I mean beyond dry. thewhite rice tasted like it was made in a bag in the microwave then stuffed into a styrofoam container. Absolutely gross. This wasthe worst sesame chicken I have ever had in all my life. Don?t spend the money at this restaurant. Go else where. It?soverpriced and subpar. Read more
I have had food from here before and was satisfied. This establishment has changed. The quality in the food itself and it?s... taste has lost its appeal. I don?t recommend. You?ve been warned, lol? Hot food melts styrofoam to the food. They used toplace wax liner on the bottom to prevent this. Another thing I asked for an egg roll which is usually veggie at most places. Ireceived a shrimp egg roll. I hate shrimps! This review is based on this visit but you?ve been informed and warned, lol. Read more
I?ve passed by this restaurant for years and today I decided to give it a try. The customer service was on point, nice and... friendly. The meal (Imperial Delight) was yummy especially after adding some spice.. No Meal w/o spice lol Read more
The employees are very courteous and professional at what they do! The food is very tasty and succulent to say the least! The... only flaw that I see here is that the restrooms are not open, for those who are waiting on their orders! And, they use Styrofoamboxes, which allow the food juices to spill out into the plastic bag! I have been at other Chinese restaurant, where they useplastic containers with lids that secure the food and juices together without spilling! Read more
Too hectic to have much of a great first impression for me. Never got my food due to people constantly cutting in line for take... out. It seems popular but just not right for me. I will never go back. They need to fix how they serve people picking up food inthis post Covid world. I wish them continued good fortune. Read more
I came in for take away and was very pleased with my lunch special. Service was quick, meal was made to order, and the Hunan... beef was very tasty. Right now, they?re only doing take away, but as I did, you can eat outside in the outdoor seating if youwouldn?t like to go far. They have a good selection of authentic Chinese and Cantonese, and very quality as well. Would highlyrecommend support one of the few local businesses in the Cascades plaza, cheers. Read more
