We met here for dinner on a Friday night. There were five of us. We were attending a concert at a local church. The atmosphere... was very nice and the waitresses and hostesses were very polite and friendly. We had the baked Tuscany which was very good myhusband had the spaghetti with the Colossal meatball. The meatball was not colossal he was disappointed. I felt bad for himbecause we had traveled almost 2 hours for dinner. Salad was good, pasta was bland I had to add a decent amount of salt to my dish- pasta should be cooked in salted water. The... issue was the service as usual, waitress was not super friendly, didn't bring us napkins, refilled our glasses from 1 pitchereven though we had 2 different drinks (????) And didn't offer us any bread either but we asked her and when she finally broughtus two whole rolls she didnt give us any plates to eat off of. A table near us also asked her 3 times for bread which she didfinally take to them. Not sure what the stinginess is with the bread here considering its an "Italian" restaurant and I doubtthere is a pastry chef making the rolls daily by hand in the back. After driving 8 hours, we checked in our hotel and headed out to find dinner. It turned out Roma was around the corner from us.... The food was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed out dinners, Eggplant Parm and Lasagna. Sauce was great, pasta cooked just right andthe breading on the Eggplant was just crispy lightly coated with sauce. Usually always love this place. The food was great, but the waitress wouldn?t let us finish a full sentence. She wouldn?t let us... order a soup w/ apps until I physically stopped her & said ?mam, we are not getting a soup w/ our meal, he would like a bowlnow.? Then I asked if there were walnuts or pistachios in the baklava and she said, ?there are no nuts in it, but let me check????? We weren?t brought change even when my dad asked for the entire table- (enjoy the 38% tip). This is my favorite restaurant of all time!! Food is divine, fresh ingredients, home made!!! The best cheesecake in the world!...
