Just went for the first time last night. Love love love!!! ???? The decor is modern and fresh, the restaurant is super clean and... they have a wide selection of Nova Scotia Spirit Co beverages that are ice cold and pair nicely with their pub style food. Theyhave an impressive menu and lots of vegetarian options. I ordered the taco platter with impossible plant based hamburger and itwas seasoned to perfection! The portion sizes are super generous and decently priced. I'm also super beaming about theimpeccable service I received. Our server JD was prompt, friendly and very enthusiastic about doing his job. Our server was fantastic, knowledgeable and she had helpful recommendations for drinks and food. It?s a great atmosphere for a... first date, to meeting with friends, or an important dinner with loved ones. The price here is a bit higher than what peoplenormally like to spend in Pictou County, however, the experience of the food and the building makes this place outstanding. It?sa far better experience than listening to the 5 cd?s that never get changed at The Dock. The patio here is large enough that youdon?t feel like it?s crowded or that someone could be eavesdropping. Seeing a restaurant/brewery in an old depot for ScottsburnMilk is very interesting and it?s nice to feel life back in this part of Stellarton. Read more
We wanted to go for brunch before heading back to the city after attending a wedding. We arrived 3 minutes before opening and... was told the rule was to not allow anyone in before 10am. We were seated near the front door and the decor was amazing! Theproblems started with the staff still cleaning while we were seated. One server was using a strong glass cleaner on the doorsnear where we were seated. We had to ask them to open another door but they couldn't find 'the rock' to prop it open. We waitedfor coffee because, I assume, there was not a fresh pot made for when the doors opened. I ordered a mimosa that was moresparkling wine then juice. It was not well balanced and too strong. Our food was not hot, I asked for butter for the pancakesand was brought cold butter cut from the block. The food was not seasoned at all and the main selling feature for my BigBreakfast plate was the homemade sausage however, it looked like it was cut in half and caused me to question our server towhich she said that was standard. When it was time to pay I did tell her that she was great and not her fault that I was unhappywith the food. She looked confused as to what to do. I tipped her and paid but wanted some acknowledgement of the poorexperience so asked to speak to a senior staff. I related the same to her and she apologized but did nothing. First time eating brunch here. Our server Shayna (?Shayla?) was so patient with our shenanigans and got every part of the order... correct. She was so friendly and fun. Our food and drinks were wonderful and we really had a good time. Very much recommendthe mushrooms on toast and the big breakfast (homemade sausage is fantastic). 100% recommend. Read more

The atmosphere is super chill, the wait staff is very attentive and friendly. We stopped in for our first time on a Saturday... night; the place was packed and the music was live and wonderful! We ordered some food and it was fast, hot and delicious. Westayed and had a few drinks and listened to the music and just enjoyed the space. Great spot and we will be back! Read more
We have had several lovely dining experiences here since they opened. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating, (we... found the music a little loud to have supper conversation over, and they were very quick to turn it down for us- ...yes we stilltalk on supper dates) and the food has always been superb.
