Let me start off by saying, every time I go to Smittys Steinbach my expectations are exceeded! Staff is always accommodating and... hospitable. Tonight Halli was our sever, she was very friendly and helpful, overall she took very good care of our table. Theraspberry daiquiri she recommended was amazing, and the steak and eggs I ordered were cooked perfectly to my specifications,overall a great experience, would highly recommend! Read more

Great service. Decent food. Expensive prices. I understand that prices are set at a corporate level, so my star rating isn't... based on price. I would have given a 4 star but they brought my 2 year olds breakfast out well after the rest of the table. Inmy mind, kids first, then adults. Read more

The staff were really nice and accommodating, but the atmosphere just isn’t what it used to be. The portions got smaller but... the prices grew bigger. $50 breakfast for two people is quite rich, considering we each only had one main course and water.Their dinner items are far better imo. In addition, the waitress attended to our table and tried to take my plate while I wasstill eating and thought I was done. Please advise your staff that these actions are what drives a consumer away. Host Zach very pleasant and cheerful but my server is what really impressed me. Linda is a very attentive server. Looks like a... very focused but also very happy employee and in the few exchanges between her and customers that I overheard, absolutely leavesyou with the impression that she cares. They do have gluten free options. Their gluten-free menu is a bit larger than other establishments. Last time I went there... though I got my food last and it took 10 minutes for my food to get there while the other people at my table were already eatingand finished theirs once my food arrived, but it does not happen that often. The alcoholic drinks are very good too, theelectrical lemonade is a must-try. Read more

Not much Covid compliance stuff other than hand sanitizer at the entrance and employees wearing masks as restrictions are pretty... chill currently. Ordered Short Stack Combo which consisted of 3 3/4" thick pancakes, and 4 strips of bacon on the side, pairedwith Red Rose tea. the next time I went(because Google wanted me to update my review) I ordered the Meatlover's Skillet. A bitpricey, but Really tasty. I went here for my company's breakfast meeting right when Smitty's opened. Staff were helpful inrearranging tables and chairs for us to all sit together. Wait staff service was adequate. Not too friendly or personable. Ourinteractions with staff were Short but to the point. Not a lot of chit chat while we were ordering (which was appreciated) asmost of us were just starting to down our early morning coffees. Twas Good food though, once it arrived after about 15 mins.Pancakes were fluffy and bacon was crisp but not quite crunchy. Most of our way into the meal the restaurant owner showed upand introduced himself and thanked us for stopping by again. He grabbed our empty plates and expressed his gratitude for ourpatronage.
