Best restaurant in Steamboat Springs, hands-down. Food was perfect, atmosphere was quiet, peaceful, and romantic, and service... was perfect. It's been years since we've had such a memorable dining experience - anywhere. Read more

My main motivator for leaving a review for this place is that we researched where we wanted to eat and I saw 3.9 out of 5 stars... and read some of the reviews and said to my wife "I think the reason that this place rates as it does is because theestablishment does not make their reviews a priority, but looking at the establishment and the food, it looks delicious." WellI was wrong and so I want to motivate the owner to change his approach and set expectations for others should they read thisreview. So to sum it up, the food was far from terrible but it was also far from delicious and it was outrageously expensivefor what it was. I had the soy glazed salmon and my wife had the codfish. Both were about $30 and included nothing more thana portion of fish. No sides, and not even a large portion. The flavors were cheap (the cod was LOADED with sugar) and overcooked. We ordered two sides of chive-mash and green-beans. I was shocked to taste a $13 portion of instant mashed potatoes. The french-fries were even $13. The kids chicken fingers were not even delicious considering what they were. The establishmentwas definitely pleasing to the eyes, but the staff were not super helpful and it felt like we were in the middle of an episodeof "Restaurant Impossible" where the owner worked his you know what off, but just cut too many corners to try to cover up otherdeficiencies / blind-spots. All in all: Two entrees, two sides, 3 alcoholic bevs, 1 lemonaide and 1x chicken fingers was $200not including tip. It has been a ROUGH two years for sole proprietors. Given that, the last thing we wanted to do was complainas if we wanted something for free, so we didn't, but instead I am taking the time to leave this review in hopes thatimprovements can be made and in the meantime, others can have a better idea of what they might be signing up for if they chooseto eat here. This place has the delicious food and excellent service that you'd expect from an independent chef-owned restaurant, and yet... none of the pretentiousness. It's clear from the varied and well designed menu that the chef takes pride in his food. Therestaurant has great views up the mountain and a big central fireplace. We've been to Steamboat a bunch and can't believe wemissed this place before. We'll be back! Read more

Easily one of the best places to eat in Steamboat. I had a wonderful, memorable dinner with my parents here about two weeks... ago. Great selection of very fresh oysters. Everything we had was great. Very nice and personable staff, and it was a pleasurechatting with the owner as well. I've also been here many times pre-CoViD, and the food has always been consistentlyexcellent. NOBODY likes CoViD and the business and entertainment realities it created -- not patrons, and certainly notbusiness owners. That said, I think Three Peaks is doing a pretty good job considering the situation. I'm personally concernedabout the pandemic to the extent that I, unfortunately, hardly eat out like I used to. However, I must say that Three Peaks'spacious facility with high, vaulted ceilings is particularly well suited to indoor dining in this context. I felt comfortable, and I think there was very good separation between dining parties to an extent probably not possible in most restaurants. Evenif you're not worried about CoViD, I think you will still appreciate the more private feel to the dining experience. From thepatron's perspective, the CoViD annoyance factor was pretty low. You wear a mask for like a minute when you walk in, and thenwhen the dinner starts, you can almost forget about the last year. Read more

We came here the last weekend in June to celebrate our anniversary and had a wonderful experience! Our waiter was very friendly... along with the rest of the staff, and the service was exceptional! The steaks and everything we ordered was done to perfection. We especially enjoyed the Blue Cheese crusted sirloin, the truffle mashed potatoes, and the creme brûlée! Loved the beautifuloutdoor patio garden and the atmosphere inside where we had dessert, made our night so romantic! *If you are worried abouteating out right now, 3 Peaks Grill is for sure going above and beyond to ensure a clean and safe restaurant. I definitelywitnessed them fully and properly disinfecting the tables and chairs after customers left. I even watched them time thedisinfectant before seating another customer. I have actually seen employees in other restaurants really rush the sanitation soI truly appreciate 3 Peaks Grill! Read more

What a lovely evening we had, but it didn't start out that way. Plan was to go downtown for dinner but the parking was... non-existent, such a busy weekend. So headed for the mountain for dinner but got turned around by the detour. Had seen ThreePeaks on the way up so decided to give it a try. Vanessa was a blessing and a gift, she saved our evening and turned it into awonderful memory. Read more
