Reviews for Smell That Bread Bakery in Steamboat Springs, CO
Some of the yummiest pastries we've ever had... and we've been to France multiple times. SO many amazing flaky layers in their... croissants! Baked to perfection. We tried the pain au chocolat, regular croissants, cinnamon roll, and french baguette. In thepast we've tried their toasts and sandwiches when the wait next door was too long. Super friendly service from the guy behindthe counter. Read more

Yeah the baked goods are tastey, but I didn't feel like they were $7 each good. After eating both the coffee cake and almond... danish I came away unhappy spending so much for so little. Read more

After a quaint walk through the Farmers market, we smelled a smell, a rather enticing smell. To our surprise, we stumbled upon... ?Smell That Bread Bakery,? and wow, we smelled it, and we bought that bread as quickly as we could. After smelling the smell, and tasting the taste, we smelled it and tasted it again. Our hands were quite sticky afterwards, thankfully they have thesmoothest napkins this side of the crick to clean up with. I?d recommend everyone to smell, and taste, that bread when visitingthe Boat. Read more

This business honestly frustrates me every time ive been to it. My first complaint is they seem to be never open and even when... their voice-mail says they are going to be open and says specific dates they are not open. The last time I managed to actuallyshop there a bunch of chatty teenagers were working and they watched me walk in and continued to have their conversation foranother minute or so before even acknowledging me. They were kind and helpful, but dang man at least say hello when I walkthrough the door. Overall the pastries are good, I wouldn't say they are amazing or anything you should inconvenience yourselffor, they are simply average. The bred is well made and the taste is good thats really all to say about them. I will say theyare a bit pricey $6 for basic pastries seems steep. I assume they are having staffing issues which would lead to the closuresand high prices. I would say if they are actually open for once it is worth stopping by, but I cant really leave more than 2stars for a business thats not doing business. Ill update this review if their business practices change. Read more
