One of my favorite places to eat in the Shenandoah valley. Great locally-sourced food and atmosphere. The Tomahawks are... delicious! Read more
Started off a little slow with some funky crab fritters that tasted like fried crab dip, weird texture, but they redeemed... themselves with two incredible entrees, the risotto (added scallops -yum!) and the chicken and dumplings were top notch. Goodcocktails and great service. Read more
Wonderful first experience. The server Hannah was able to answer all our many questions. She was attentive without hovering. The... brunch was delicious and filling. The cornbread is a must. So worth the effort on a dark rainy Sunday. Especially grateful toour friends that invited us. Read more

Great service and delicious food. Upscale but not stuffy. Felt comfortable in business casual/summer dress type... clothes. Cornbread was excellent and definitely would have been enough for 4 people to share. We took half home. I had thegazpacho and my husband had the fried shrimp, both were excellent, I was surprised by the large bowl of gazpacho, I couldn'teat it all and still have room for my entree! My husband said it was one of the best steaks he's had, and my fish was great! Alovely evening! Read more

I don't usually write negative reviews, but I have to say I am extremely disappointed in Zynodoa. My wife and I went and she had... the barbecue shrimp and grits, while I had the steak. Both of us prefer meals on the rare side but her shrimp were translucentand the grits were absolutely swimming in barbecue sauce. It was completely unbalanced in flavors. My steak, which I orderedmedium, was absolutely rare, and again the flavors were nothing to write home about. Even the presentation of the dishes werelack luster given the fine dining prices. The only good thing I can say is that the appetizers and drinks were quite good. Read more
