This location always ROCKS. This fact is only exploited by the fact that a few other locations in the area have recently slacked... off since what seems to be ownership changes. If that means more business for this owner, he deserves it. Excellent customerservice, loyalty cards (1 free for every ten purchased), and open when they say they are. If you are a local looking for a goodspot for supper or lunch or you're from out of town and just looking for a good dog, give this place a look. For those who don'tknow, the lingo is, if you want the typical mustard, onions, chili and cole slaw, ask for the everything and specify if you wanthot or mild chili, although I highly recommend the hot. I absolutely love this place. My son Is somewhat of a hot Dog connoisseur (hot dog hot dog hot diggety dog) and he loves them.... I love the BBQ. The owner took his time in taking our order to make sure he got it right...all while being playful and funnywith the kids. Read more
This little gem is a rare find for sure. My family of 6 ( 4kids and 2 adults)blasted through he doors of this establishment not... sure what to expect for a roadside oasis on our travels. We were extremely surprised and glad we took a chance. The owner wasgracious and took our large order with ease as we had some picky appetites as far as how they wanted their multiple hot dogs andbbq. I was happy to see him multi task the orders at the same time as welcoming a row of cars into the drive up window. He wasable to complete our order , jump into taking the new orders at the drive through and still get our orders to us in a quicktimeframe. Unbeknownst to us at the time that he was the only one there. GREAT SERVICE...GREAT FOOD... GREAT roadside gem. Stopped by here a few months ago. Kevin Lyster is a long time friend and my wife and I decided to surprise him with a visit... shortly after he opened. We live in Suffolk VA and it was well worth the drive! (Ok, we traveled there for the wineries). Kevin has great attention to detail, cleanliness and excellent service. The dawgs are top notch and the chili? A proprietaryrecipe I wish I could get. Sure, you're thinking - a friend of Kevin's, of course you'll give him a good review.... What a great little spot in Verona! I didn't realize it was there until the new owner took over, but I sure am glad that I found... this place! Fast, affordable service--and great quality food! I usually use the drive thru on my lunch break, but I went insiderecently and was really surprised to see a full dining area! Check this place out--you won't be disappointed!! Read more
