We live not too far from the GA Club and for years we used to come here mainly for the dining experience. The food was great and... the atmosphere very relaxing. Sadly, for some reason they changed their policy and are no longer open to the public to come anddine in unless you are a member. In our opinion, they are shooting themselves in the foot because they will lose business overthis new policy. We don't play golf but love the golf atmosphere so we would often come and dine at their restaurants. Sadly,that's no longer an option. Fortunately, Chateau Elan made a wise decision to allow the public to have access to their propertyand have several restaurants that are open for the public to come and enjoy and you don't have to be a member. We just ate atSarazen?s Bar and Grille and the golf club views and food were both amazing. Too bad we have to drive further to do this, but sobe it. If I was the owner of the GA Club, I'd at least open the dining option back for the public because you just lost severalcustomers and that's not good for business. We would love to come back, but for now the option has been closed so we will haveto keep supporting Chateau Elan. Read more

My mother and I have had the BEST experience hosting a variety of showers at the Georgia Club! The events coordinator, Morgan,... was an absolute pleasure to work with and made the planning and execution of each event so easy and seamless. We can't sayenough good things about Morgan and the entire event staff and look forward to hosting more events at The Georgia Club in thefuture! Read more
The best golf country club in the Athens area! The Georgia Club features 27 holes (Red, Black, & Silver Course) and a solid... driving range & putting area to practice before teeing it up. Mike O?Malley, the Head Golf Professional at TGC, is one of thefriendliest guys you will meet! The Georgia Club also has a multi-use clubhouse with dining/bars and entertainment rooms,multiple clay tennis courts, a gym, and a swimming pool/cabana to enjoy hot Georgia summers! Read more

Easily one of my favorite golf courses in the state of GA. From the tee boxes, to the fairways, to the greens, this location... absolutely delivers an amazing golf experience. There are definitely some challenging holes for the experienced golfer but youare rewarded for striking the ball well. You will not be disappointed if you book a round here.
