Best place ever!! My husband and I ordered breakfast there for a late lunch today ,the waitress were so sweet and attentive. The... cook prepared our food exactly as we had ordered it. So perfect!! Great job to all of you thanks so much we will be back!!! Inoticed as I was eating one of the staff waiting outside to open the door for a lady walking with a cane, paying attention totheir customers needs WOW !! Very very sad service. The restaurant was three quarters emply near 10:00pm on a Sunday evening. Three of us seated ourselves to... a booth. About 10 minutes after arrival an employee acknowledged our arrival gave us our drinks and menu. No smile and a fewspoken words. About 5 minutes later took our order. About 20 minutes later we left because the cook had not started working onour food order and server never spoke to us since taking our order. Extremely disappointed!! Read more
Wow . Is all I know too say. Of course you would expect it to be a busy day being as though there isn't much open on Christmas... day to eat at. But this place is a train wreck waiting too happen. The cooks have orders out the butt and walk off the waitresshave been cat fighting the past 45 min I've been waiting on my take out. This was my first ever stop to eat at Waffle House (near Iredell Memorial Hospital). I had not eaten anything for many hours due... to a test I was going to go through, so when it was okay to eat, I stopped here. I couldn't have been more pleasantlysurprised. I mentioned as I sat down to Betty, who was going to take care of me, that this was my first time eating at a WaffleHouse. As a Canadian living in the US, every time my husband and I would be near one, we were on our way somewhere and couldn'tstop. This was my chance to see what it was like, what the menu was, and how everything would taste. Every person working todaywas super sweet. And, I want to add that each of them worked very, very hard and quickly to take care of their customers. Bettytook care of me. She checked on me often to make sure that everything was tasty and it was (I was really hungry when I walked inthere!) At one moment, Betty asked if the meal was to my liking and if it helped to make me feel less hungry, and I said anemphatic YES, It was perfect! Kudos to Betty for being awesome at her job!! I would go back to this particular Waffle House anyday just to day hi to her ???? I also couldn't believe that the servers could just tell the two female chefs what meals toprepare (sick are prepared right in an open kitchen) and they prepared them on the spot! No papers needed, no papers exchanged.No one had a complaint when I was there. If there was a very tiny thing to mention was that the eggs were cooked in more butterthan what I thought they would be cooked in. As a note, that's my preference though - others may prefer the eggs just the waythey were cooked. Thank you Betty and the other women who were working today....
