I have been driving for 12hrs , was staying at hotel across the street figured I would get a hot meal. So I walk in half the... store is shut down so went to the end that was open. Low bar was only place open however it had syrup on it in several spots.Placed my order, ask fire waffles dark ask the server did you let her know I wanted dark. She starts loud talking "don't knowwhy I'm here goes I don't know my job" the customers were looking at her. I then asked could I see your tag to wipe the counterdown, I used to work for them in another state. She says you can move down if you want. I informed her then the sun is on myeyes again. She wiped counter. O said thank you. She takes customers their food and says oh that's right you didn't want toast,they informed her that was me. Then ii asked could you throw my bottle away for me plz. She says if you worked here before thenyou know we don't put outside trash in ours. Got my food asked for some syrup, she decided to start loud talking if she wants tobe miserable that's fine but not going to make me miserable. So I took 1 bite out of all my items and walked out. The lady wouldnt even take my order bc i was on the phone. So i ended my phone call & waited patiently. 3 minutes roll around... and this lady still intentionally has her back twords me... 5 min pass... still no acknowledgement!! 8 min - still nothing Iwaited 17 min for her to turn around take my order even spoke up and said im off the phone and would like 2 order now. Not much worse than an inattentive server and grill staff. Order coffee and ask for sweetener. I tell her "Any of the fake... stuff". Brought my coffee, waited 5 minutes til she came back by and had to ask for the sweetener again. Ordered bacon, andasked for it, I quote, "extra, extra, nuclear crisp" Brought me limp bacon. Brought my sirloin... had to wait another 5 minutesto ask for a knife. By then my steak was cold. So when she brought out my eggs, hash browns and toast another 5 minutes later Ijust got my check, paid, tipped 20% (because I'm upset, but I'm not a total jerk) and left. Worst place I ever ate nasty felt unsafe in daytime and cook was terrible and on her phone The waitress Jessica Whitman was the... only person that was attentive and respectful. The coffee pots look like they haven?t been washed in months the silver halfclean the cups had to be exchanged 2x after seeing dirt and hair I just didn?t want anything else The hash browns were coldbacon burnt and toast so cold the butter was thick I didn?t eat that. Jessica recooked my food personally and it was good. Worstexperience ever but I left Jessica a $20 tip just because I could see people tips were not good. First off the waitress was AMAZING!!!! Even with being fully packed every seat was taken she got my order right, was very... friendly and I could just tell this lady was such a hard worker!!! And also plz if you order take out from a sit down place suchas waffle house or Crack Barrel....PLZ ALSO TIP LIKE YOU WOULD IF YOU WERE DINE IN!!!! IT'S US SERVERS THAT GET YOUR FOOD PUTTOGETHER YOUR SIDES, YOUR BREAD, YOUR DRINKS, NAPKINS, CUTLERY, AND ALL THE CONDIMENTS!!
