We have been here several times and had a nice time. Unfortunately this visit wasn?t so good. We called ahead to make... reservations for our 10 person group to celebrate a birthday and we were welcomed (on the phone). We arrived the time in whichwe made the reservations and had to wait an hour to be seated. They did not take any regard to our reservations. After finallygetting seated we had a waitress that was unfriendly. We were then over-charged at check-out! Our service and food weremediocre. We will be choosing another place from now on because it is no longer worth the drive to be treated this way. Read more

This was our first visit to KOTS and it was remarkable! The fish was cooked perfectly as were the shrimp. Our waitress was... pleasant and kept our glasses full and made sure we had everything we needed. The prices are reasonable which is saying a lotnow. Read more

King of the Sea was one of the best seafood restaurants I have eaten at recently. I ordered popcorn shrimp with onion rings and... slaw. Normally, at other seafood restaurants, the food is cold and dripping in grease, but here, the meal was hot, fresh, andnot greasy at all. Our server was Rebecca. She was excellent. I told her that this was my first time dining at King of the Sea,and she informed me that she would see that we had a good dining experience and that she would even add an extra helping oflove. She was fantastic. She checked on us several times to see if we needed anything, and she was very fast and efficient. Onecould tell that she is definitely a people person. Normally, I do not order dessert, but I had to have a piece of the chocolatecake with the chocolate icing. When Rebecca brought it to our table, there was a piece of cake large enough to feed 4 people. Itwas well worth the $5.99 it cost. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also good. The only negative item I have to mention isthat the music was a little loud, but I could live with that. This was a fabulous dining experience, and I will return. The service was quick and courteous. The restaurant was clean. The food was basic. I felt like my fish was cooked in the... microwave and some old bay seasoning thrown on top. The hush puppies were delicious. This is a great, inexpensive, close tohome seafood choice for dinner but if you are a seafood lover/foodie, this is not the place for you. Read more
