This was a waffle house on a conservative/republican area, what does that means?? Servers were hard working, hospitable, caring... yes all of them. The food was served as if grandma was serving it, definitely one can see the difference when people want towork vs people having to work to comply with requirements. I am not sure what has happened since this restaurant opened, but the owners need to do some surprised drop ins, especially... after 6pm. This used to be the best WH in Statesboro. Tonight (10/29/22) there were only 2 workers. After we sat, they nevergreeted or even acknowledged our presence. I get it, good workers are hard to find these days. It would be better to just closeafter a certain hour due to staff shortage than to have these two treat your customers rudely (or not treat them at all). Leftand went to Cracker Barrel. Do better WH. If you've ever been to a waffle house you know that you can expect.
It was crowded so we had to wait a few but not long. Once seated the waitress did a great job & was very patient helping a... child place an order for what he wanted when it was not a menu item combination. She was very attentive & prompt. I do notoften eat typical breakfast food but the food was prepared very well with no issues. Even the 2 y.o. was pleased. Read more
Fix your website!! Had to drive to Sylvania to Huddle House because they refused to serve us. Looked like they were having a... party. Said only to go orders. Website says open 24 hours a day???? We were there at 5!30 Read more
Watched a worker throw salt over her shoulder. Apparently she has bad spirits following her. Lol On another note Watch out for... them over charging. I showed the young lady the prices on the menu. And she was told by management the correct price. She stilldidn't want to change it saying it was a service charge and all plates cost the same. Beware ...always look at your ticket.Simple math isn't simple anymore to some. Either that or she's getting over on people. Read more
Food was obviously great, just like every WH. The employees here not so great,Lackadaisical, no motive, didn't know what area... they were working. There was 8 working and only 5 customers, still took 5 min to get my order taken from the lady sitting nextto who was 1 of 6 that were just sitting. However they all were nice and very bright attitudes and my waitress bought me hashbrowns because she didn't hear me say 2 orders................ .. went back this morning and the service was completely oppositefrom last night. This waffle house was super clean. The staff was great and food was good. They charge a 10% that goes to the person preparing... the food as well as 10% for supplies on all take out orders. Read more
