Hands down BEST BBQ from Augusta to Savannah! Service is professional & friendly. Clean & organized atmosphere. Food is made... fresh & prompt per order. Outdoor entertainment regularly on weekends. Bar area is completely separate and patio is spacious yetintimate. Highly recommended the ribs and/or the pull apart bread entrees. Love my pull apart bread with extra pork. STOP WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING... and get yourself to this place. Like now! I really thought having lived in Memphis and traveling... the South like I have, I'd eaten at all the really good barbecue places, but I will publicly admit here and now that I waswrong. THIS -- this Dolan's place -- is a must stop for a foodie of any sort and BBQ junkie whether they pray to the pig or thechicken. The service is fast (my order was at my table in about 5 minutes), and the prices are fair ($8 for the daily specialand $12 for my rib/chicken/chopped sampler). The local food takeaway section they have is impressive (check out the differentpimento cheeses), and the bar is well stocked if you want to que there. Dolan's deserves extra culinary kudos for its sauces.Most "homemade" sauces that BBQ joints serve can be over the top in one way or another -- too hot, too vinegary, too this orthis -- but the Sisters White, Seven Oaks Mustard, and Grape Vine Road Red are hands-down the best trio of BBQ sauces you'llfind 'round these parts. If you're coming to Statesboro, Dolan's is worthy of your presence. Bring lots of napkins and an emptytummy because your love for food is about to get gooey good and plenty, too. Read more

LOVED LOVED LOVED! My boyfriend and I came last night & were so surprised by the prices, food, and interior! Everything was... perfect. The employees were sweet & efficient. I cannot wait to bring my parents when they come back in town, it is definitelyright up their alley! Also, love the Masters theme this week (AUG native). 10/10, one of the best places in statesboro. Statesboro has a new contender for BBQ and they are solid. They do a great job with pork based options and overall do a great... job with sides. Decent amount of space but extremely busy since they just opened. Read more

Service was outstanding!! All the employees were super friendly and attentive to your needs, even though you were not tipping... them. The food was also very authentic BBQ. We had the large platter and it was enough for 2 adults plus we had left over. Theprice was reasonable and not expensive at all for the amount of food you got.
