We heard the hype but honestly, it's just steak, how good could it be......awesome! Every facet of our meal was above... extraordinary. My son and I went here to have dinner. Angie was our waitress and she was outstanding. She made sure we were safe and brought us... everything we needed. 4 ? but should be 5.. First time visit last week for our anniversary after hearing raves about the restaurant. The good.. the... place looks amazing, well laid out dining area and the waitstaff is very friendly! The food tasted great (both had the cajunribeye) and the drink selection was very nice! The bad.. We decided to sit at the bar and noticed 3 open chairs, even thospaced out, two appeared to be held for buddies. The third chair was occupied by a dirty bookbag belonging to the person nextto it, turn off! We finally got seated and received our drinks w/ some garlic bread while we waited for our highly recommendcajun ribeye w/ crawfish sauce. The steaks tasted amazing and we had a great time while there but unfortunately we got sick aswe were leaving the restaurant and it continued into the night. Definitely not what we wanted on our anniversary night.. and itmay have just been a fluke that night in the cream sauce. Would like to try this again as it is definitely a gem in Statesborobut it may take some time... Read more
