Reviews for Sayori in Staten Island, NY
Very bad service. The food was good overall. But when we done eating the lady there literally forced us to leave a tip. I mean... you guys cannot force anyone for tips unless they gave it to you by your service. Definitely not going back! Read more
A long time staple of this shopping center Sayori serves Japanese cuisine (of course), Korean, Vietnamese, and other Southeast... Asian cuisine. Medium-priced, an alcove with 2 tables of traditional Japanese seating, and sushi bar. We clueless Americansdidn't figure out that the "candles" were soy sauce dispensers. ???? (oil-based lamps, lights, soy candle, pull on top to seewhat's in there - then we asked) Read more

What a delicious hidden gem! Absolutely amazing sushi and such beautiful decorations. One of the best sushi spots in Staten... Island. If you are craving sushi this is a must go! Everything was so fresh and authentic. Also they do have an area where youcan sit on the floor but I would advise against it. It's cute at first but gets very uncomfortable quick Read more
Phenomenal!! A must go. They even have authentic Japanese seating which is absolutely amazing.
This is the best Japanese restaurant on SI. Its a gem. The food is magnificent, the staff is so kind, and the atmosphere is... wonderful. Though they could use a better playlist haha. I recommend the Jae-gae-bok-eum and the korean soup if you wanna trysomething other than sushi and chicken Read more
Yesterday my cousin and I visited this place for the first time and I must say we were very impressed by the decor, service and... delicious food. Simson was our waiter who was so attentive, friendly and quick with the service. All of the appetizers andentrees was so fresh and tasty. For apps we had the shumai and gyoza ???? pork dumplings. For entree we had crunchy tuna andcrab rolls, a volcano roll, shrimp tail roll, seafood fried rice and general Tso chicken. The interior of the restaurant was acultural Japanese ambience from the furniture, art, and seating style. We will definitely be visiting this place again. The foodand service is excellent. Read more
