We have been to several other Mediterranean restaurants in Staten Island. But wanted to try this for a change. We stepped in... around 6.30 pm when there were a few customers: nice ambience and warm and clean tables. Having placed the order had to wait 45minutes to get our food on the table! Well, it was too long. This delay compelled me to give four stars instead of 5!!! The foodwas ok and more towards the expensive side. The slim white haired young waitress needs to be more welcoming towards customers. Read more

Went with my parents and boyfriend and loved the food! The fried feta logs were awesome. and the sahara bread was tasty. The... fries were crispy, too. Service was also really quick and my water glass was never empty. Overall, great spot! Read more

We had to wait while our lunch was prepared, fresh to order, and the wait was worth it! I enjoyed the veggie kebab- amazing... mushrooms and eggplant. Read more

Started with the taboule salad and it was very good. They brought over a whole pide bread which was fresh and delicious. We... ordered the Chicken Adana and Lamb Shish Kebab. Both the chicken and lamb were perfectly seasoned and had great grill flavor. The service was efficient and friendly. The place is spacious, clean and contemporary. We would definitely come back againand again. Read more

Yes this is the same Sahara from Brooklyn and they make the fresh bread! We ordered the falafel's, hummus, chicken kebab... platter and the one in the picture is the Yogurt Chicken Adana Kebab. We had the Baklava for dessert and everything was sodelicious! We can't wait to go back lol. The staff was friendly and nice to us. There is parking on the side of the restaurantoff of Hylan Blvd. Read more

It's been years since I last visited Staten Island. I was quite please when my friend suggested we try Grand Sahara. The host... checked our proof of vaccination then seated us. The dining room was bright and spacious. We had a friendly server who wasextremely helpful by giving us suggestions and answering our questions. The service on the whole was very good. The meal itselfwas beautifully presented and quite delicious. I also felt adventurous and tried Turkish coffee for the first time. I normallydon't drink coffee so it was strong for me. It wasn't bad and I did finish my cup of coffee. My friend and I had a wonderfuldining experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who want so Turkish fare. Read more

One is not like the other, when you order entrees for delivery they don't include any of the side dishes and say that it's for... dining in only. when we ask the manager about this and told him in the pictures it looks different all we got was rice and meatand nothing else . Take a look at the pictures and be the judge the food taste good but I don't understand why not dining in,and you don't get the sides as part of your entree it's not like they're making it cheaper. No pickles, no cabbage no lavash ,no grilled tomatoes or peppers! Read more

The service was amazing! Foods are just okay, the falafel was a little dry. I’ll definitely comeback for the Baklava!
