Staff was nice, owner or manager was welcoming, they had a great board of lunch specials under $17pp including soup & dessert.... We ordered 1 bkfst special & 1 greek combo sandwich on pita (the greek combo on pita wasnt very good, falafel tasted a bitburnt, grilled chicken was extremely bland but nicely grilled & the gyro meat was absolutely frozen, salty, not my favorite) Ialso worked at an excellent greek spot some yrs back which is what I compare any greek food I try to. it cost just over $30 nota bad price for 2, I'd definitely come back to try other stuff on the menu. They are very attentive. We stopped in with three silly children. This item was not on the menu but one child wanted a pizza... bagel and they didn't disappoint. It was perfect and the child ate the whole thing. Thank you Page diner. Read more
I was looking for Halal restaurant in the island & the restaurant I found was closed on a weekday???????so I start walking & end... up here. It?s beautiful, clean restaurant & the stuff & the owner were wonderful. They also let me know their chicken items rhalal. So I tried that. Big portion of food which I could not finish. The dessert & coffee was great. The price of the food wasgreat considering the amount of food I get. No complaints, I wish it was near my house. Takes a long time for me to go therefrom where I live. There is nothing wrong with this diner but there is also nothing special about it. If you've been to any of the diners on Staten... Island, this is exactly like those. There's nothing different on the menu and it's very basic. The service was good and the foodwas good but the coffee was just all right. Read more
Was a little unsure because the parking was basically nonexistent. Place is big inside. Seated immediately. They brought over 2... minimuffins. Very nice touch! Portions were sizable. Breakfast was so over priced and the food was disgusting!!! Never will eat at this diner again. Spent over $50.00 for my... daughter and I to have a simple breakfast and left still hungry because of poor quality of food. Bacon was the most disgustingtaste I have experienced in my 58 years of eating bacon!! Avoid this diner!! Read more
