The Best Sushi on Staten Island for years. Others come and go but Miyabii has been ***consistently*** fresh, good value, speedy... and delicious. I take out 90% of the time and dine in once in a blue. Usually sushi, sometimes the warmer foods. Haven'tfound something I didnt like and its been probably a decade. Give them a try and you'll notice the difference. Read more

Came here at 10:15pm on a Thursday. They advertise they close at 11pm, but they weren?t even open when I got there almost an... hour before closing. Ruined the date I had with my girl. Appreciate it, Miyabi, if I ever need to waste 15 minutes of my lifedriving, I?ll count on you guys. It must be so super expensive to change the time on your online profile to match your actualstore hours. Maybe you guys should invest in a computer? In the end, I just went to the sushi place down the road. And guesswhat? They were actually open and didn?t lie about their closing times lol Read more

Very pleasantly surprised by this small sushi restaurant in SI. I have been craving Santa Barbara Uni for awhile and I... definitely did not want to go into the city or Brooklyn. I was thrilled to find that this restaurant had both Uni and Toro! TheUni is fresh with a sweet buttery aftertaste (we went on a Monday evening). Yumm. As you can tell from the pics, we orderedone piece each to try before ordering a few more Uni pieces after we realized it was FRESH (old Uni is so uck) ! We alsoordered the toro belly which melted in my mouth. It was ssooo good. I usually find Oh-toro to be a bit too fatty for mypreference but their toro belly is between an Oh-toro and Chu toro which is PERFECT for me. I also enjoyed the Madai and theebi shrimp head! The Ebi was a little too mushy for my preference. Each sushi had just enough rice and vinegar was notoverpowering or taking away from the fish. I am not sure why some of the reviews complain there is too little rice. If youwant rice order it on the side? Sushi is not suppose to have too much rice!!! We also order the Staten Island roll which wasfairly good but too filling for me. Service was excellent and the workers picking up the phone were very nice as well. Icertainly will be back to try the other items on their menu. I did not enjoy the smoked salmon (taste like costco smokedsalmon) and wagu (recommendation to make this last as it was served cold and needed a little more torching). I would alsorecommend a quick torching on the madai pieces to give the skin an extra char. Otherwise excellent fish selection!!! Read more

I ordered the salmon teriyaki bento which came with hot miso soup, sashimi, california rolls, kimchi, salad, veggies, wasabi, and rice. This was a delicious treat! Midline pricing, smiling staff, fresh food & drinks served. Parking can be found across the street... in the Stop n Shop plaza. I was shocked that I liked it so much lol. From the outside, it just looks like another regular sushiplace. Give it a shot! Read more

I don't usually write reviews. But I feel obliged to do so after being here. I came all the way from Flushing to try this place... out. Japanese restaurant are everywhere. But its hard to find a decent one with high quality and reasonable price. The price wasbeyond reasonable, if I were to order the same thing in other Japanese restaurant in the city or long island, the price would be40-60% more expensive. This is a family restaurant and they are delicated to Asian cuisine. Mainly Chinese and Japanese. Thesashimi is a definite try. Besides the price, the quality and freshness of them are just exceptional. Plus, staffs are friendlyand helpful. Don't take my words for it, go try it out. I promise you won't regret it. Read more
