The first thing I notice about this establishment is not the food but the feel of the place itself. Quant. Tiny. But that's not... a bad thing! It's got a very warm feel to it. Before Covid, i used to really love coming to beans and leaves with my friends. The workers were great and so friendly. However... now, i unfortunately can?t say the same thing. I went to beans and leaves with my friends and we ordered food along with coffee.It took them almost an hour to bring out our stuff, and not to mention it wasn?t very good. Before that, i went up to thecounter to ask if our food was being made and how much longer would the wait be. They hadn?t even started our food. I always loved this place but my last few visits have been very disappointing. First of all I always have to wait for my order... for a very long time. One time I waited for a sandwich for 20 minutes and they weren?t even busy, they simply forgot about myorder. Even when I ordered for pickup and it said on the app ?your order is ready? I still had to wait!! Also, I decided toorder overnight oats and in the picture they have a beautiful bowl with bananas and peanut butter. Instead I got oats with lotsof milk and that?s it!! No toppings at all!! I paid $7.50 for just oats and milk!! Never buy their overnight oats. They have noidea how to prepare it. I had to use apples from my husband?s apple pie waffle as my oatmeal topping, which worked great! Coffeeis always good in this place. I don?t know if I?ll be coming back there again. my friend and I had eaten here for the first time. we were very excited to go but it hadn't met the expectations. the food was... pretty good but a little soggy and not that warm. very pricey. it was $22 for a waffle and a lemonade. the service was very veryslow. we were there for about 45 minutes before we go our food and i had to get up and ask how much longer it would be. I hadsomewhere to be and this whole thing slowed down my day. if you don't mind waiting and paying a lot; than I would suggest thisplace because the food wasn't bad. Read more
