Lovely getaway and experience. We appreciated the staff, check in experience, luxurious treatment, wonderful restaurants, huge... pool and hot tub, and walking the grounds and beach. Great place to put away the car and just enjoy all the resort has tooffer, including small nooks and fire pits and games popping up throughout. Read more
We had a relaxing and lovely stay at the Edgewood Resort in South Lake Tahoe! Ben, the manager, Debra. Brenda, Julia and the... others at the front desk, the concierge, the bellhops, valet, shuttle drivers, housekeeping, hospitality/restaurants, and wateractivities desk were pleasant, joyful, helpful, and fun! The grounds are exceptional with stunning beauty all around, inside theresort and out, and so many fun activities to choose from! We didn't get an opportunity to golf, but next time we will as thegolf course is majestic! The rooms were so warm and inviting and the beds very comfortable! We look forward to returning againsoon! After staying at Edgewood, we LOVE it. The Staff are very friendly and helpful and they surprised me with upgrading us to a lake... view room and a very beautiful plate of birthday sweet treats. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and has a very peaceful vibe.Enjoying a gorgeous sunset at the private beach is amazing. Will definitely come back! Read more
Overall this place is on one of the best locations on Lake Tahoe. It has tons of activities as well as S?mores every night for... kids. But, there were some things that definitely made our trip a bit disappointing. First off, when we arrived at the Bistro wenoticed there were 3 Hosts and 3 Waiters. We were seated and someone came up and poured water into our glasses. It took 15minutes to get a waiter we had to actually ask someone to take our orders and I expected better. Our food took 50 minutes! Wesaw our food sitting on the counter and I could see how the waiters had absolutely no idea which was going to who. Our food wassitting on the counter for 15 minutes! The service at the Bistro is absolutely horrible. I expected better from a fabulous hotellike this. Unfortunately, not everything met our expectations here. Read more
Pervasive service quality issues overshadow a beautiful property. Paid 1500+/night for some kind of indiscernible ?package?.... Order room service, and 2.5 hours later no food, we?re blamed for not answering the door (we were on edge waiting for our foodthe whole time). This place is fantastic and beautiful. Right on Lake Tahoe. The scenery is like heaven. Stopped into the Bistro for drinks and a... bite. Service there was actually forgettable but food and drinks were delicious. This makes for a wonderful special occasionspot. We would love to stay for a weekend. Walk down to the beach and there?s chairs to sit and soak up the wonderful views. Read more
