Pulled pork was great, the kid working the window was very sweet. He was obviously under supported because he was pretty much... the only person I saw for the 45 minute take out experience doing everything for both take out windows while trying to bag allthe orders. I understand staffing shortages, however I would try not to let my team struggle like that for that long. Maybesomething to keep in mind when scheduling in the future. Read more
Stopped in for dinner, was a bit busy but was seated immediately. Very friendly staff and helpful. The food was really good too.... Started with wings, they were very flavorful. Next for our meal we had Pork 3 ways and a Whole Hog big deal. Great meal and theyeven serve cocktails now. Read more
Newly remodeled. Very clean. Fast and friendly service. Their bbq egg rolls were very good. I ordered their smoked turkey. Very... good and not dry at all. Will definitely be back. My husband ordered the brisket grilled cheese. He loved it. Really enjoySonny's everytime we go. Read more
In general, I like Sonny's BBQ. The food is good and the service is almost always excellent. Such was the case when we visited... this location in Starke, FL. We were traveling through the area and hit Starke right ahead of the lunch rush. So, we pulled inand grabbed a hearty lunch before getting back on the road. As it turns out, we were the first customers seated. I've been in anumber of restaurants that seemed unready for the first customers of the day. That was not the case here - from the minute wewalked in we had perfect service and a great meal. We ordered a number of the BBQ sandwich options and all were tasty. Plus,they were ready very quickly. This location has been updated, so the booths, lighting, floor, decor, etc have all beenrefreshed. It's a great looking spot. The parking lot is a bit odd, but worth navigating for the food and service. We'll bestopping here again! Read more
Clean place, very good bbq meats, side salad was one of the nicest salads I have had at a restaurant in awhile. Everything in it... was fresh. Fries were just okay. Like the drinks to go, especially in the heat. Wish there was a Sonny's BBQ in Naples, FL. Read more
