Cool atmosphere. They have a nice selection of draft beers. They have the most amazing bread, but it's only served at... dinnertime. The service is awesome. Very quick & courteous. I took off one star because we have never been greeted at the door.We have always had to wait for someone to come from the back to seat us. The French dip & coleslaw are amazing! Read more
There is just no way to say it other than directly. This local cafe is simply a place for a quick bite for families where the... kids can run free yelling and playing. I get it, it's a local cafe. It could be much much more. We ordered a Mushroom burger(notice the photo where the fries dip has spilled over the burger) and the chicken strip basket. The food was well ok. The"country fries" were way to thin, reminded me of wet noodles as they were soaked in deep fry oil but the fries themselves werepractically uncooked. I asked for medium cooked burger, it was beyond well done. Local restaurants are my favorite. I want tosupport them and so they too should support local businesses. They had not one local beer offered on the menu. Verydisappointed. And a short margarita was mixed well, but set me back $11.00. I would expect that price in an upscalesteakhouse. The venue was quaint and could be attractive and comfortable minus the wide mirror in the back off kilter and dirtythough I noticed a feable attempt to wipe it clean with a dirty napkin. Soften the leg chairs on the wood floor and the placewould not have sounded like a gymnasium when people left. (not including the children running around tables screaming andyelling). Simple changes would certainly improve my review. Maybe another time, probably not. Read more
Wow! My new Favorite Restaurant. The Ribeye is excellent, the Bacon-wrapped Filet is excellent and they've got the best Clam... Chowder I've ever had. Their drink selection is top notch as well. You won't be disappointed. Read more
Great little place! Service was fast & efficient... yummy bread with garlic oil dipping & water on the table in minutes.... flavorful Clam chowder & Salad shortly after we ordered...and the Dinner was amazing...16 oz Prime Rib that had so much flavorwith yummiest red potato mash..I wanted to drink the auju it was so good...also had the Sslmon and roasted BrusselSprouts...will definitely go back Read more
Disappointing restaurant. We were seated quickly, but our food took over an hour and was not worth the price. The floor was... filthy, and our waitress was sparce. It seemed like it would be a cute little place, but we won't be returning. Read more
It would have been five stars if not for a few mistakes with our orders. The side salad was basic and a bit wilted for a high... end place, the fish and chips tasted oddly like banana bread, not bad, just odd for fish and chips. Chips were amazing. ribswere cold due to a mix up, but also dry and a bit rough... It's a five star place, I just happened to have a couplecomplications. Read more
My daughter told me about this Restaurant and how good the burgers and fries are. We are a foodie family, and we critique food... fairly and honestly. We called in our order for take out, three hamburger (kids) meals and fries, each of us ordering a slightlydifferent variation, and we were pleasantly surprised that they got each one exactly correct. The patties themselves were largenot especially thick bit not thin either, the bacon was thick and cooked well, toppings were fresh and plentiful. Fries were a""steak type" although thinner and well seasoned. These were such large burgers that my daughter and I could have shared one,and they were kids meals!! My husband and I are going back for dinner soon, the prime rib looks so yummy..... I will hop backon, and let you know what we think.
