Let me start by complimenting our waitress. Great service, friendly, enthusiastic, always approached the table with a smile and... had great descriptions and suggestions for the available meal options. The roasted cauliflower appetizer was about the best wehave ever had. The main entrées of steak and pork chops were delicious, perfectly cooked although the steak really didn't needthe sauce as it was great quality and flavor without it. The pork was top-notch, moist and flavorful. What made this 3-starinstead of 5-star were the sides. OMG! You couldn't overcook the vegetables more without putting them in a blender first! Idon't know where the cooks got the idea of pre-preparing these vegetable sides, letting them sit steaming or under some heatlamp forever, and then, cooking them more. Not having ANY sides would have been a better experience. There is no reason why arestaurant like this that knows how to cook meat so well, cannot cook sides TO ORDER. The gin martinis were also not up to theirusual quality. We ordered slightly dirty and they were very dirty and that spoiled the drink. But, a final thank you to ourwaitress for helping to select an excellent wine and leaving us with a smile! Read more

Blue cheese wedge salad on the appetizer menu was WONDERFUL! Fish & Chips good. 14oz. Ribeye steaks just okay, both my husband's... & my steak were smothered in "sauce" his was beef flavored, mine blue cheese, peach... whatever. Guess we're purists & believean exceptional steak doesn't have to be covered with anything, but the two we had were the only options offered. The KegSteakhouse sirloin that we love love just sets the bar pretty high. The service from the time we walked in the door was reallygreat though & walking around downtown Stanwood was nice on a warm summer night. Read more

Good food. Old fashion sit down dinner option with a small bar in the back. We had salmon, salads, some bread, all delicious. ... This is a higher end menu with quality food and prices to match. Budget $40-50 per person if no alcohol. Desserts are alsovery good. Read more

When awarding five stars i consider, is there any possible way it could be better? Having eaten there a dozen times or so,... there's only been one time that I would have awarded 4 instead of 5. So yeah, always great service, nice atmosphere. Thecharming warped old downtown wooden stuff you know if your a local. Nice lighting. Slim menu but executed perfectly every time.Pricing is right in the pocket in my opinion, not cheap, but worth it, great flavors, great presentations. Good drinks menu. Idie for the tuna appetizer. When the serve a tenderloin, order it. Probably catch me there once a month or so. Read more

It's been about for years since we had dinner here. Our last experience was not good. This time I have to say was great! I'm... rating this 4 stars because of a couple details. The booth bench was not comfortable and a little pricy for what it was. Theprime rib dip was delicious but the bread was not hearty enough to hold together and it was $17. The risotto dish was deliciousand rich but felt it was missing something $24. Read more

My usual place of choice for meals when visiting my grandma, originally wanted the cast iron pork but since everyone loved it an... used all the bourbon glaze I opted for the halibut and mushroom broth instead, wonderfully light halibut and great earthyrichness for the broth. Enjoyed a nice simple apriwhiskey: bourbon, apricot liqueur and lemon zest and an elderflower smash withthe meal. Ill be back for the cast iron pork tho. Read more
