Went there with friends and Ordered 2 pizzas dine in it took 30 minutes for order and was told 1 pizza burnt top and bottom. But... one pizza the other couples would be out soon.They were making another pizza for us it took 20 minutes and the bottom was burnt.The server was great and apologized but pizza was not great. August 13,2022 Dinner @ 8:30pm What can I say absolutely nothing good. This was once our favorite place to eat for a really good... meal. NOT ANYMORE!!! They must be under new ownership because the woman who owned this would have never aloud this behavior totake place. We came in to pick up our usual order of Baked Rigatoni.The staff was rude and to busy holding hands and playingkissy face to attend to the customers. We wait twenty minutes for an order that only takes 15 minutes. The take home orders atone time were bursting open with food?one of the many reasons we loved this place. NOT TODAY!!! My order had 15 noodles, no meatin the sauce and barely any cheese. Chef Boyardee out of the can would have been better. OH, IT GETS WORSE!!! I called in to letthem know about the order and see what they could do to rectify this matter. When I called the young lady who answered the phonewas very polite when I asked to speak with the manager. Unfortunately, she forgot to mute the line so I heard the staff saying?put it on speakerphone so we all can hear, get there name so we can SPIT in their food?.I won?t repeat the rest as you would bejust as offended as I was. When the manager got on the line and I explained you should really have your staff put the phone onhold so the customer can not hear their snide remarks. He did not even respond, apologize or try to rectify the matter. Insteadhe said ?so what?s your problem? which is extremely unprofessional. When I explained our order was lacking it?s usually amazingluster he simply said ? we are busy it?s not our fault you didn?t get enough to eat?. THEN PROMPTLY HUNG UP THE PHONE! Actuallysir that is your fault. As pleasing the customer is what keeps your customers coming back and your business afloat. I will notbe recommending this restaurant to anyone in fact I will be telling them to avoid it!!! I cannot say enough good things about this place! Great pizza and oh my the meatballs! The service was top notch, but we did... have an amazing waitress both times we visited! Kate is an amazing addition to the CL Pizza crew! So if you visit definitelyask for Kate. She's quick witted and keeps the whole table on their toes! Read more
We used to love to go to CL Pizza with our family and friends; the atmosphere was great and the staff was always friendly?to top... it off, the food was pretty good! We arrived today to pick up our carry out order of pizza and a salad?the staff was stillwonderful and the interior was still welcoming, but the food was far from what it used to be ????! Sadly, we have had betterfrozen pizza than what was served to us tonight. The gluten free crust was rock hard, the toppings were hardly covering thepizza, and the cheese felt like it was melted from the night before ????. The Italian salad had meat that was hand-torn in frontof us, with incorrect ingredients?it seems there has been a change in the cooking and/or chef. Pretty disappointing. Wait staff were nice and atmosphere was good. Unfortunately the food was a different story. Bread sticks... came out and we're what you'd expect from a good pizzeria but the pizza was terrible the crust was hard and flavorless and hadthis off earthy taste almost like a swamp. I'm not quite sure how you call yourself a pizza place and you have worse than frozenpizza. Read more
We stopped here with some friends to grab a pizza. We tossed it up in the air which place to go and CL was the choice to try.... That was an unfortunate decision. The place is fairly clean and the atmosphere is nice. The issue was the speed of service andthe quality of food. The waitress was not rude in any way but only returned to our table very seldomly to check on any needs,changes, or status. The place had two other couples inside with us and we waited for over an hour for our food to arrive. Wenearly left without it arriving. The couple behind us also had service issues and was not happy with the speed of the fooddelivery. When the food did get to our table, it was not very good. The pizza was similar to frozen pizza. I would actually goso far as to say I have had better frozen pizza. I would not recommend coming here for pizza. We didn?t try anything else so Ican?t attest to anything else. They did have a few people waiting to pickup food, which could have been the reason ours wastaking so long. Either way, I can?t recommend going. If you do, leave plenty of time. Read more

Wife brought home 2 Detroit Pizzas and a margarita pizza. $60 and little Caesars would've been better. They've gone downhill... bad. Dough mustve been old cause it didn't rise at all and was really dense. Super skimpy. Gourmet pizza doesn't mean skimpon the toppings. Read more
