Wow! What a find! Traveling through and hoping for something local and tasty, we found this FANTASTIC gem of a restaurant.... Taking pride in locally sourced fresh food, soooo delicious - and staffed by cheerful and welcoming help - a winner on allfronts! Everything we ordered was as good as it could possibly be in terms of flavor, texture and presentation. Do not missthis excellent dining experience. Read more

I had the French Toast breakfast and it was good. My husband had the Bluebird Omlet and later the Smokehouse Pasta which he... loved. The cheese mouse dessert was very yummy. The restaurant was clean. The staff was friendly but had some difficultygetting refills, the full order, and food to go. It wasn't busy at the time. Maybe it was just a fluke. Read more

I just had the Cumberland Falls Chicken Sandwich. It was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The quality of the chicken was... excellent. There was just the right amount of every topping, all fresh and high quality. I will make the trip to Stanford tohave this again. Read more

Diner is very nice and clean. Hostess was very friendly. She seated us. My friend ordered BLT with homemade potato chips and... fried green tomatoes. I had Smokehouse Pasta. We were both pleased with our food. I would have given them a five but the noisefrom the kitchen was very loud. It was very bothersome because of the hearing aid. Read more

I?ll start by saying my hot brown looked nothing like the picture- but it was still great tasting- so oh well! This restaurant... is a gem for this area because there are few other places outside Lexington where you can get high quality eats like this. Themenu had plenty of options and the atmosphere was also good. It was surprisingly busy too- which was a welcome sight. We gotthe hot brown and then a vinaigrette salad with blackened fish. We were surprised at how much fish they actually gave us- butalso how little hot brown we got. No issues though because we shared and it was more than enough for both of us. Again, thequality of food (pretty much not being the normal fried whatever) was welcome and this will be a definite repeat for us. Read more
