Cold ribs. The beans were tasty and warm, though, so perhaps grab those for $5 if you need a snack.
I wish they cut my brisket against the grain. Made it not pleasant to eat. Too dry. Just need to train your staff how to get... it right. Read more
One and done. I was excited to try a new BBQ place, especially one on campus. Unfortunately, my brisket sandwich was cold, the... spicy sauce wasn't spicy (and I had added hot sauce to it as well), and my garlic fries had a hair in it (and they werelukewarm). There was no one in line ahead of me, and the place was sparsely populated at 1230pm. After this experience, andreading other reviews where this seems to be the norm rather than the exception, I'm tapping out. I came here for lunch on a monday around noon. I got there combo which has all 5 meats (chicken, sausage, pulled pork, brisket,... and ribs) with 3 sides (garlic fries x2 and coleslaw) for 30 dollars. I doubled up on the ribs since the chicken wasnt readyyet. This could easily feed 2 normal people or 3 small people, or one of me. The meat was insanely good. Stellar. Also, theemployees here were super kind and really courteous and nice. It wasnt too busy, and they got us our food fast. The meat on myribs literally fell off the bone. It was sooo flavorful and juicy that both me and my friend stopped and admired the taste. Thisplace is a gem on stanfords campus and its a great deal for what you get. The brisket was juicy but also crisp and the sausagewas stellar. Garlic fries from this place are made how all garlic fries should be. Warm, crispy, and gently coated in garlic. (Iadded some parmasean to enhance the flavor). The coleslaw was also a pretty nice accent to the meal. Overall, id say that thisplace is amazing and worth it. I highly recommend others to come and try it out. Ps. Im writing this post just a few hrs ofeating there and i already want to go back for dinner.. even though im still full.. it just tastes so good and u cant getanything like this on campus or in the surrounding stanford area.
